Great gift he has been wanting it for a while. Glad I got it because we all use it as a family. Great quality time together.

My 4 year old son got it for his birthday and he loves it. He has gotten the hang of using it and playing some of the games.

Perfect system for a young child. Games are easy to pick up and play eithout much reading, and the versatility of the system to use on tv, handheld, or as its own small screen away from a tv make it perfect for travelling. The battery stays charged over 5 hours at a time with mario odyssey.

It was an excellent purchase for my daughter. She would play it all day if allowed to. Nintendo is always a quality product.

I wish there were more games that came out with the initial release, but overall I have been enjoying this console. I like the mobility of it, and I don't find the controller to be that small (a common complaint I have heard from many other users). The graphics are amazing and the gameplay is smooth. The battery life of the controllers is also pretty long. I can't wait to play more games on this

The Switch is well built, boasts solid graphics, and fits comfortably in my hand. I love how easy it is to dock and charge it. The fact that the controllers each have their own accelerometer and connect to the system remotely is definitely the most impressive feature in my opinion. So far I have only played Breath of the Wild (outstanding for solo play), Sonic Mania (faithful spiritual successor to the old games), and 1-2 Switch (great for parties), but I am already in love with this system. It's everything I thought it could be and more. Pros: Convenient (seamless transition between handheld, TV, and tabletop modes). Comfortable (ergonomic, no strain on hands or thumbs as of yet). Good graphics for its size (I would say it compares to the Gamecube). Vibration feedback exceeds my expectations. Controllers are oriented to space on their own (no infrared bar to calibrate to like with the Wii). Quick settings very accessible (for example you can easily toggle Wi-Fi, screen brightness, etc from in-game). Cons: Left controller seems to be a bit loose on my system but not a huge issue. Battery life is just okay, maybe a couple of hours with continuous play. Games are somewhat limited at this time. All in all, I am extremely satisfied with this product, and I feel no cognitive dissonance over the price. It's worth every penny to me and I am so happy I got my hands on one!

Easy to use and simple design! My son loves playing this and the console seems like it can hold up for a long time.

The ability to play two players using each joycon as a mini controller is a game changer. Going handheld when someone else wants to use the tv means continued gaming which is especially helpful in avoiding disputes between the children. This Grandma scored big with her grandsons.

Highly recommend getting this over a Lite. Being able to SWITCH between your dock and playing portably is really nice.

Awesome gaming system since the initial release, but now with a better battery as well. Love Animal Crossing on Switch!

I was hesitant to buy this system because I just wanted one game, Zelda. But 5 games in and many hours this is one of the best systems to have portable gaming. All of the games are engaging too. I recently bought a PS4 and I barely play it. I always pick up the switch because it’s portable and I found games that are engaging. Oh and it’s a good party system too!

It is an awesome product. I have been a nintendo fan all my life. Now be able to go from playing on the tv to the car without stopping my game is awesome!

Went online cyber monday looking for a Switch bundle and Bestbuy had the best deal at the time. Kids (boys ages 12 & 13) love it!

My new favorite gaming console, I love that you can play it on the big screen and you can play mobile either on the couch or on the go. This is the newer version which is suppose to have a slightly longer battery life. I've had it for over a year and still no joycon drift yet so hopefully they fixed it.
