Love this item my girlfriend always plays this device, so much that we bought our kids their own perfect for on the go

First Nintendo product I've bought in a long while. Did it to kill time on lunch breaks. Its nice and battery last quite awhile. Glad I bought this now to start my library of games and memories.

This console works amazing as both a traditional console as well as a handheld. I enjoy being able to be right in the middle of a game and just pull the Switch out of the dock and continue playing. Very well designed UI and very responsive.

It's a great console to play with your family, many of the traditional Nintendo multiplayer games are available and are a lot of fun like MK8, MP, Smash, overall a great console to play with friends and family.

I bought this for my older son and his girlfriend for Christmas a couple of years ago and ever since then my younger son has been jealous. He loves it. So he finally broke me down and I bought him one for Christmas. I can’t give any specifics on the game only that my 25 year old and 17 year old like it a lot along with his 22 year old girlfriend. If I have to say one negative is all the games for it are really expensive. In my opinion anyway .

I've played for about 50-60 hours since I got the system back in December, and school has been the only reason why that number isn't triple what it is. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Super Mario Odyssey are all I've had time for. The fact that I can take this full fledged system wherever I go, kill an hour here and there, is just amazing. I can get about 6 hours with a full charge, which is pretty decent. There's so many fantastic games out right now that I cannot wait to get, and plenty more coming out in the next few months. Definitely recommend.

Super compact for leaving room. Easy to carry around the house or for travel. Wife and kids love it.

My household is full of Nintendo fanboys, but we know the Wii wasn't a smash hit. We liked the Wii U, but LOVE the Switch! You can play it as a console or a handheld and who couldn't use the versatility of that?! We bought one of each controllers and like them all. No it can't do fancy tricks like the PS4 and doesn't have a ton of storage, but the versatility makes up for that in my opinion. No longer must everyone suffer through watching my kindergartener play the same level of Skylanders repeatedly, or my husband exploring the endless world of Zelda. With the Switch, when we want to watch tv all you do is take the handheld out of the cartridge and continue playing without missing a beat, and Tada! the tv is free! Also, the whole system can be packed up and taken to grandma's or on vacation. Don't forget the perk of being able to play Nintendo exclusive games! The game cartridges are tiny much like the DS so they also are very portable, especially if you buy a carrying case. My only negative critique is that in true Nintendo style, there are limited games on release. We lucked out that the two we were most excited about came out first, Zelda and Imaginators, but we can't wait for some other releases!

Great Console and the kids love it. Games are very nice, with good graphics and remotes work awesome. Ended up buying two additional remotes so all the family can play! Easy to install...

Nintendo has always been an innovator when it comes to video game systems, and the Nintendo Switch is no exception. The Switch has several great features going for it. While not as powerful as the Playstation 4 or Xbox One, the Switch is still more than powerful enough to output great video quality. When in hand-held (mobile) mode, the Switch runs at 720p. When docked, the Switch can reach up to 1080p. Notice I said up to. Not all games run at 1080. Zelda: Breath of the Wild, for example, runs at 900p. Don't let this minor dip in resolution deter you from playing on the Switch, however. The average user will not notice any hit to the visual quality of the games. If I had not read about the resolution, I would have thought it was 1080p quality. Like any new game system, the game library is small. This is not enough to dock points from the review, however. Zelda is such a great game to keep players occupied for a while until new games are released. Mario Kart, Splatoon 2, Super Street Fighter, Mario Oddsey, and many other great games are soon to come. The portability of the Switch is my favorite feature of the system. It offers players the ability to take the fun with them on the go. Games can be played on your big screen when the system is placed in the Switch docking station. The docking station even charges your system. When removed from the dock, the system can play games on the Switch's large screen. The screen is larger than that of the Nintendo 3DS XL screens, and the 720p resolution is more than enough to deliver amazing image quality. The one minor flaw with the system is that it fits a bit snug when placed in the docking station. There are some rubber grips inside the dock that hold the Switch game system in place. While it may not seem like a big deal at first, over time docking and undocking the system will smudge (and possibly scratch) the screen of the Switch. Some easy and cheap solutions to resolve this issue are to 1) buy a glass screen protector for the Switch screen, or 2) buy a felt slip-cover to place over the wall of the docking station to prevent rubbing by the Switch. Although this is a minor annoyance, once you install the above mentioned solution, the issue will no longer be of concern. In closing, I think that the Switch is a great system and I see myself using it as my primary game system. I'll still use the PS4 and Xbox One, but the portability and game library are what will keep me playing. It's great for road trips and playing at home.

Excellent gaming, fun to carry around and play with friends

I had not played Nintendo game for a long time. The last machine I had was Gamecube. We never got into Wii. We used to enjoy Nintendo game as a family. We loved Mario Party, and Mario Kart. My youngest was talking about Switch when it first came out. Well, we decided to try it out. This is such a great console. You can play on TV, you can use as hand-held.., one controller becomes two when we play multiple player. We are hooked with this and enjoying Nintendo again. We missed Nintendo so much. I am glad that we bought this machine.

Perfect for being able to play games while traveling

The Nintendo switch is really unique, and is more than I expected from the console, it turns on quick and you ready to play in a min, take it from the dock and keep playing on the go. Is so much fun, I just hope they make more good games for it.

Nintendo's latest home console is a bit of an odd one, being both a typical home console that needs to be hooked up to a monitor and a handheld console, portable and relatively easy to carry. And it performs both functions rather well. The portable tablet can both be used as a portable standalone screen, for playing split-screen multiplayer without a tv, or as a tablet reminiscent of the little-loved Wii-U. With a selection of excellent games for all ages, this is a must have for a family that loves games.

Its a Switch, what more can i say? Great console by any measure.

Really enjoying this gaming system! Love the fact that the joycons can be used separately or together. Awesome that it is also quite portable. Highly recommend, especially if you like multiplayer games.

I purchased 2 of these Nintendo Switch Consoles and gave one as a gift. I play the games on my large screen TV when I'm home, and on the device when travelling. I've had no issues what so ever.

Bought this for my son so he could play with his friends. He loves it and plays everyday. Had to set time limits with the parent app & can even set a shut off time so he can’t play it all hours into the night.
