I haven't owned a Nintendo system since the N64 (still have the original NES and SNES). This definitely has the old Nintendo magic in its simple and fun design. 3 things I love most about the system: 1) having the choice to play on TV or portable anytime. I'm still getting used to the freedom, it's seamless and transitions instantly. If the family wants to use the TV in the entertainment room but I'm in the middle of a level/race I can just pause then continue without the TV. 2) no achievements or trophies! They started out ok but seems they've become a way to lure players into buying DLC or play numerous online matches to have 100%. The freedom to just play and never worry about those things is wonderful, life is stressful enough without a system keeping a checklist on my profile. I can just appreciate the game for what it is, how games were meant to be. 3) so much fun playing with my family, Nintendo has the BEST family and kids games. My daughter loves Mario Kart, and we usually get one race in before bed...a fun way to end the day. It's kinda special enjoying a game I played as a kid, with my kid :-) The system feels expensive so I'm concerned if it can handle being dropped by a 7 year old. I ask her to only use it while sitting on the couch for now, until there are more available in stores. It feels like a miniature Surface computer with controllers on the side. Everything feels well made, we've had some heated multiplayer matches and the little joy cons work great, no signs of wear on the buttons or analog sticks. So far it's great, I haven't touched my PS or Xbox since getting this. And I keep thinking how great it would be to have the games on those consoles available on Switch, like Skyrim...which is coming. The only downside(s) for me is that Nintendo needs to add a virtual console soon, I would love to play older games on Switch. Seems they're trying to sell the classic mini systems first, but it will happen eventually. Great little gaming machine!

Bought for my kid and she just loves it loves that she can play handheld or on tv

I have always been a Playstation person. I recently got the Switch for my daughters for Christmas. We have all really enjoyed playing it. Loading times are much less than that of a disc based system due to the game cards. I have yet to play a game that wasn't cartoon style animation, so I'm not sure how the graphics will stack up to something like the PS4, however what I have played so far has been fantastic! It is certainly geared more towards kids, while I feel the playstation is geared more towards teens and adults. I would highly recommend this system for anyone with younger kids!!

My Grand daughter has not put this down since receiving it for her birhday a month ago.

Kids and wife loves it! Have to admit I play it sometimes late night! Great for traveling, want the kid of the tv just take the switch off the the dock and everyone is happy!!

I was wanting one for a long time & was lucky enough to get one. It’s reminds me of a Nintendo DS & Wii put it one. It is a amazing console & I love playing on it

First time Switch owner and my wife won't stop playing Animal Crossing. Im not what its like to play my Switch because my wife won't stop playing Animal Crossing :-(

Good like it. Really fun like the games.I am looking forward to using this game system a loot this year.

As someone who loved nintendo as a kid (had a gameboy, gameboy advance, nes and snes growing up) but missed out on everything else after that, coming back to nintendo with the switch is like a dream come true. It's truly a great console and it can't be said enough how awesome it is switching back and forth between handheld and tv mode. 8 year old me would go crazy if he could see this thing in action. It's truly amazing how far the games have come as well. Super Mario Oddysey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, heck even fitness games like Ring Fit Adventure are a blast to play on this thing.

We ordered one and it stopped working the same day we got it. However Best Buy was great at letting us exchange it for another one.. the second has worked great!!

My daughter plays it non stop. With it's easy set up you can'tgo wrong. No matter if you at home or on the go this game device will keep up with your life style.

The Nintendo switch is definitely a great product for mobile and stationary.

So glad I was able to get my hands on one of these has made life in quarantine much more bearable. Great feel in handheld mode. Graphics are great for a small portable console.

My son is 10yrs old and he wanted this for Christmas. He loves this and this is what he plays with the most. I like that it’s a handheld system so he can take it with us and not need access to a tv all the time.

We struggled with the decision to buy a video game console or not. The Switch has been a perfect solution - and friends that have a xbox or PlayStation at home love playing it just as much. The best part, in my opinion, is the mobility it offers. Being able to easily pack it up as a handheld for overnight stays or long travel is a great feature. Favorite games in our house are Zelda (wild), Mario kart and dance 2018 - among all ages. Great first video game console. Couldn't be happier.

Very versatile, its pricey but I love that it can be taken many places and it can go from handheld to the TV. Pretty good investment but be cautious add ons are costly!

Nintendo really outdid themselves with the Switch. I haven't enjoyed a Nintendo system this much since I got the Nintendo 64 as a kid. It's super portable and has been a blast at all my family parties this year.

A lot of fun for my 8year olds and easy for them to learn. Lots of games for there age and us as 40year old who don’t play on gaming systems had a blast in this one!
