Great product, I play every day with my kids and they love it

What can i say, it works well. The battery has improved and so has my traveling / working days using mass transit. The best way to play is portable play!

Waited my whole life for Nintendo to merge their console and handheld together, and it finally happened. It's portable yet powerful, has great build quality, and just feels nice to play. Best hardware since the Gamecube and I think the Switch surpasses it. Joycons are a joy and playing with two fully separated controller halves make it effortless to lounge around in weird yet comfy positions on the couch. The software has its ups and downs. It's a breath of fresh air to be able to just turn it on and literally be able to start playing within 5 seconds. The way the games are put in the background when the console goes to sleep is great too, you can just pause in the middle of a game and come right back to that moment within seconds. The UI is intuitive and simple in a good way. A couple downsides are mainly related to the software which is constantly improving, but has quite a way to go. As of 3/18/18 the online experience is very lacking (although FREE). This is supposed to change this year when the paid online option launches. There is also no virtual console like the Wii had, so you are only able to play games that are made for the Switch - no way to play the classics you bought on the Wii like Super Mario World. It would be amazing to have access to a library like the virtual console would provide - all on the go. No plans yet but there is hope for the future! Finally, the biggest problem I have is a lack of cloud saves. Everyone else can do them, why can't Nintendo? I'm paranoid about my Zelda and Mario saves because I've put so many hours into them and honestly would be heartbroken if my console died. Overall the downsides aren't even enough to take away a star, I'm having way too much fun with this thing.

Great for kids. My kids love it. It’s also great as a family night game when you connect to tv and play a game that has up to 4 players. Highly recommend.

More than I expected, I purchased this as a 53 year old woman looking for a little distraction from social media. Now to find some games to keep my interest

The game has brought me back to my childhood memories. I always wanted a gameboy as a child but my parents couldn’t afford to get me one. As a child I would love to play the game at a friend house. Now that I have my owe I’m truly grateful for it .

I’m enjoying my switch. My 32 GB model will hold a whopping 3 downloadable games and some apps. It took a while for my large monkey hands to get used to the default controls being designed for little pis babies. Just drop some extra money on a big boy controller and you’ll be good.

This year's best console and portable gaming console ever! I can play it on my big screen or on it's tablet screen at night time. I am recommending switch to all my friends and colleagues. Lol.

Nintendo definitely makes fun games and systems that are family friendly. Their platform exclusive games are fun and worth getting a separate system to play on.

Difficult to come by these days. But for a long time Nintendo fans, this is must have. I enjoy playing it with families and friends. A must have for party night.

I love the new switch and the battery life in portable mode. We also have the first generation switch and the battery life if not even close to the new one.

This has to be the best console hands down since you can play portable or stationary. To top it off everything is included in packaging to play in both scenarios.

The Nintendo switch is a great console! Not only does it have great exclusives, including Super Smash Bros., and Super Mario Odyssey; but it is a full console on the go. The switch also allows for many different controller options with the included joy-cons. Do you want a regular controller? A wiimote style controller? Or do you want two mini controllers for you and a friend? The joy-cons work in any of these situations.

I was able to borrow my friend's Switch a while back to play Zelda: BotW and it was an absolute blast. I had so much fun, when I saw it sitting on the shelf at BestBuy one day, I went ahead and grabbed it (they were sold out everywhere in my town, so it was a happy coincidence). I've used it for a few weeks now and am a huge fan! Obviously, Zelda is great, but the console itself is pretty awesome. I like the build quality, it seems pretty sturdy. I've taken it on a few trips with me and I'm definitely careful with it, but I also don't feel like I'm going to break it (or the controllers) taking it out to put it through the x-ray machine. I LOVE that I can throw it in the dock to charge, play for a while, and then when my wife wants the TV to watch her shows, I can just grab it and continue playing. It's super-convenient. More-so on that point, I like how you can pick it up; hit the button and just start playing immediately wherever you left off! I never have to load the game or wait for anything to boot. It also has really great battery life (for me at least) and I've only run it down once or twice on longer airplane rides. I have a new MacBook Pro, so I can simply reuse it's charger on the go (or plug it directly into the MBP) so I didn't need to buy an additional one. That's pretty handy. I honestly can't think of any cons. Being a PS4 gamer mostly (and then switching to desktop recently) the biggest thing I've had to get used to is the controllers and the button placement, but after a while it feels pretty natural. Also, I am still playing Zelda, but once I finish it, I'm honestly not seeing any games that I would immediately buy. I'm hoping by the time I finish, they will have a better selection of games to choose from; but I think I'll be on Zelda for quite a while.
