The ease of going from TV mode to handheld mode is awesome and instant. You can play in a variety of ways, you can use the pro controller in handheld mode by setting up the screen on a table. It's easy to have two players on games. There is a lack of games. But Zelda is plenty to pass the time and Snipperclips is also a great game game for family fun.

I have been a fan of Nintendo since I was very young. I have grown up with almost every system out. I would barter, sell, and work my butt off in order to keep up with console releases. Now as an adult I have the capital to purchase systems when I feel necessary. Naturally I have both the PS4 and XB1 but was genuinely excited to hear about the Switch (formerly NX). Going back to cartridges (meaning SUPER FAST load times for games) no "installing" like PS4 and XB1 users struggle with - it's been a pleasure. Ths system supports CEC control of your devices, you can play on your TV or release from the dock so that others can use the television - take it for travel, possibilities are endless. Nintendo once again has gone out on a limb and created something that the gaming world has never seen. While PS4 and XB1 go back and forth with the "me too" and the "mine has better graphics", Nintendo decided to focus more on the true gamer. Get the gamer to the game quicker. Allow for portability, bring back the social aspect of gaming. All in all, a WIN for Nintendo and I am looking forward to the great lineup of games coming to the Switch (Nintendo's own and 3rd Party as well). I do still have my PS4 and XB1, it's just a different experience.

My kids really enjoy their game system they play it often they have fun doing it knowing bad thing is they wish they had more time

This game system is amazing. I got it for my son my son but i play it more than him. Great selection of games for the whole family.

The Nintendo Switch is quite a bit of fun, it’s not just a gimmick as I find myself using handheld mode and docked mode frequently. The Switch also has many games that you wouldn’t even think would be there, such as bioshock, and even borderlands, this is good especially if you’re into gaming as a whole, and not just Nintendo’s area of video games, it’s a great deal of fun, and it always impresses me to play AAA games on it.

The Switch is all around a very clean and creative console. It brings many first party exclusives. *cough *cough(Looking at you Xbox). That will blow you away. It may not be as powerful as the other consoles but its charm and selling point is the fact that you can take your games anywhere on the go. Many 3rd party games are making use of this and are porting existing games over to the Switch. I do recommend you pick up a screen protector though. Sliding the Switch in to the dock if you're not careful could scratch the screen. If you're buying from Best Buy I recommend you get the Two Year Warranty with Geek Squad. As cool as the Switch is. It's not as tough as you'd think. From consoles overheating in the past to simply dropping it. It's good to be able to get a replacement right away. Also a tip..... the Console only comes with 32GB's of space if you want to take advantage of that buy your games Physical. They take up way less space. But if you are looking for extra space a simple Micro sd card can be fit in the back behind the Stand. A Sandisk or Nintendo 200GB micro sd card is very good for most people.

Get some accessories but it’s fun to bond the family together with grants like Mario cart and smash brothers

Had this for a week and I’ve been taking it everywhere. Portable, the screen is clear. Fav game to reccomend would be Mario kart 8

Love love LOVE the switch. I love that I can play in bed on the pad if it’s just me and I’m playing Pokémon, or we can play on the tv for Mario Kart or Smash. The only thing is that if you have bigger hands you’ll more than likely need to buy an actual controller.

While we are enjoying this new game console I have 2 complaints. 1st, the load times to transition in the game appear to be no better than our original game console. Seems there could've been some improvement. 2nd, the joystick function seems to lack precision. I'm comparing that to our original Nintendo controllers. But we are enjoying it. The portability will be a plus, as well as the HD hookup and external storage upgrade. Have fun trying to get your hands on one though! It took me 2-months of trying to secure one I even had 2 in checkout that didn't survive the time it took to check them out! 3rd time was the charm. I ended up having all the accessories before I was able to purchase the console!

The Switch, while not a powerhouse system like Xbox One or PS4, is an impressive system being that it is both a console and portable gaming system. Going between portable and onto the TV screen is just as smooth and instantaneous as Nintendo shows in their commercials. The only downside is for adults the Joycon controllers are a bit small and when using them as individual controllers the top buttons are hard to use. When gaming on the TV I recommend spending the extra money on the Pro Wireless Controller as it feel more natural then the provided adapter that the Joycons snap into. Additionally getting a screen protector is a must if you want to keep from scratching the screen when putting it into the dock.

This is our 3 rd switch for we all had to have our own. It is a great system and easy to carry.

I really enjoy how mobile this game console is. It is so easy to charge and then carry with you in the house, the car or anywhere!

Wanted to reward my 8 year-old son for a stellar year of school and this system does not disappoint. The best thing about the switch is that it is mobile so you can take the fun with you on the road and then dock it to enjoy on the big screen. Have the ability to download games as well as purchase the mini cartridge. Both options work extremely well and I like the fact that Nintendo offers a parental control feature that connects directly to the parents cell phone. You get weekly reports of how much time your child spends playing the system and it allows you to restrict games based upon age. If your kids get out of hand, there is a lock feature as well. Great purchase and I enjoy being able to play games with my son that we both enjoy.

The switch is a great console for home and away. Nintendo's first party games are always bangers.

I didn't think I would like the Switch but it really is a fun system for the price you pay.

As always Nintendo has some great Nintendo games that are fun for yourself and the family. The bad is the machine is super under powered, over priced and the controller that comes with it is horrible so you have to buy the $60+ controller. Also you can get buy with the included memory but you'll want to buy a memory card if you use it a lot.. so you are looking at $400 for a console that just plays games with average graphics. The good is it is mobile and if that's a huge thing you want then you'd probably enjoy the switch more than me
