It's fun!

My wife just really wanted to play Mario with the family, and we got into Zelda as soon as it was plugged in. We've never removed it from the dock or tried portable gameplay. The joycons are kind of hard to use as individual controllers.

Pretty gimmicky but the games are good

I’m not good at describing electronics but the way I would describe it is that the home menu and all that seem to run smoother. However, I think the whole “switch” part of it is so gimmicky. The components don’t seem to slide on and off easily and it seems like those little parts could wear out over time. At the end of the day it’s just a computer that runs games. I’d honestly just rather the controllers be stuck to the console and the thing come with an extra controller for when it’s docked
