Our family loves the Switch and the possibility of having fun playing games together as a family of 4!

I've never taken the time to write a positive review for a game console, so that says a lot in itself. Especially being an owner of a gaming PC, Xbox One and many previous gen consoles. This little guy hits the ball out of the park for me. This is the kind of power I've been wanting to see out of a portable device for quite some time. One thing I really need to say is, any cons that any reviewer is out writing about this product I consider a great decision for Nintendo to have made during production. For example, who cares if the screen is plastic? If you want/need to, add a glass protector. Nintendo did what they could to get the Switch to it's $300 price point. If the price were any higher, it would have flopped. Or at least, it would have taken the route VR has with Oculus. Great tech, but just a little too pricey. Honestly, if the devs built a headset with cheaper plastics and whatnot, I'd feel for comfortable purchasing one. Point is, I don't think Nintendo could have done a better job with it's launch of the Switch leaving consumers like myself wanting more. All I can hope for now is interesting software updates and future games from third parties.

I bought this for my son for Christmas and he loves this game system, I like that he can take it with him to places and I don't have to worry about those long drives. I also like that some of the games were free and I enjoyed playing them also. This is a must buy!!

This was an impulse by that we absolutely don’t regret! Connecting it to the TV is easy and you are able to play multiplayer games

Not only is it a great home system but a near perfect portable. Runs zelda smoothly. Easy to use Powerful. Controllers are sweet. Splits in two for homes with kids. Pro. Affordable $300 to start Games range from $7.99 to $60 bucks Download games. Don't have to Change cartridges and loose/scratch games Portable or home system. It's like owning two systems in one unit. Has all my favorite family friendly games. Mario, Zelda, Mario kart, Tetris I can go on forever I'll stop there Cons. Wifi is far from best but you can hard wire it. Left controller was having issues but Nintendo fixed in in four days for free In portable mode controls hurt my thumbs because I have to bend my thumbs out. But I can take controls off side of system

The Switch is a really fun, easy to navigate console that offers something for everyone. There are some games that are geared more towards teens/adults and plenty of family/kid friendly games as well. Plus, it's the home of Mario. Who doesn't love a good Mario game?

Happy with this perchance, our son enjoys playing it and it's easy to take along when traveling! Battery life is good and its easy to learn how to use!

First off, I love this console! Portable, spacious, a variety of games, it's just amazing for me so far. I'm not really knowledgeable about a lot of the technicalities, but for someone like me who's super into games like Super Mario Bros, Animal Crossing, Rayman Legends, etc., this is perfect. My ONLY complaint is that the stand on the back of the actual console is kind of hard to pull out, and sometimes I'm scared it will break, so I don't usually use that feature. But in every other aspect, I absolutely love this, Nintendo really outdid themselves!

Nintendo out did the selves this time. My kid love this console. He is able to play it where ever he wants and the best part is it plays actual games not a mobile version. He is able to pair it with up to eight other units and have a party with his friends. I would highly recommend for anyone who loves games to buy this console.

The Switch is a lot of fun to use and the battery lasts long enough to get a few good session in on-the-go. I was worried about there not being enough games at fist, but i've been surprised at the steady release of new games. I had the Wii U prior to this and barely used it. I was mainly a PC and xbox guy but the portability of the Switch keeps me hooked. My only gripe so far is the supplied controller grip is painful to use if you have larger hands, to the point where I have to stop playing because of it. Not the biggest deal since I play mostly in tablet mode and I'll eventually get a pro controller but it is worth noting. My favorite games right now: Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle Puyo Puyo Tetris Zelda Breath of the Wild

There's a reason that Nintendo has been making systems and games for as long as they have. The system is easily the best one in years. The first party games for it are amazing. And this is the ultimate road trip tool for parents that don't want their kids getting bored.

This was a gift for my sons but so far, I have been playing it more than them. This was bought, so they would have their own system and I knew the Mario games would keep them entertained for a long time. I like it for being portable, so it can be used in a car, or on a plane and they both can play with it at the same time.

Really enjoy being able to play on the big screen and then switch it to handheld. A lot of the games are easy for kids to play, and are fun for family get together. Been playing Nintendo since the original, and the Switch is definitely my favorite system from them.

I purchased my Switch because I wanted a system that I could play on the go as well as on my TV. Nintendo did not disappoint. It’s not as fast nor does it have as good of graphics as a PC, but it offers more playing options than anything else on the market. You can bust it out for a quick game while on the go. You can flip out the kickstand and toss a joycon to your friend for some shared fun. You can drop it in it’s cradle and play against a half dozen of your friends and family who are spread across the world. The options are limited.

I haven't had a nintendo system since I was a child. Jumping into the switch was like going back to the golden days of gaming for me. It makes having great games on the go a must have. Something I didn't know I was missing. If you are looking to get a system for yourself, a friend, a child look no further than the Switch.

When I said I wanted to get a gaming platform for my grandkids I was told to get the Switch. I wasn't sure and thought I should be a console of some type. I went to Best Buy (LOVE the excited employees who walked me through the process) who recommended the same thing. I told them to set me up completely for a wireless set up for 4 people - and they did. I went home and it all hooked up seamlessly and we were up and running in less than half an hour, The nintendo store has tons of games (a bunch free) and the game play is a riot. The selection of games is crazy ranging from kid appropriate to outrageous adult fun . . . and you can take it with you. Only downside is small memory and you have to buy some if you are going to save games to the console that you purchase on-line. So, you pretty much have to purchase the actual game. It's won't store more than 1 big game without additional memory. But, in the end, it works for everyone and works well. Nintendo strikes again!
