Good console so far. I got as a gift for my nephews after they enjoyed using my switch lite. Nintendo support can be difficult to deal with but the product itself is good.

First off, yes the Wii U was lackluster. It had a few good games but really wasn't what the Wii before it was. Fast forward to 2017 and we have the Switch. It is everything the Wii U wanted to be and more. It is 100% portable, it plays games in your living room as well. This is a very good system, and let's face it, if you want to play Zelda or Mario, you need the Switch. Yes Breath of the wild is also on Wii U, but it is a must if you have a Switch. Now as far as hardware is concerned, the joycons are passable as a controller. But I did and still do have sync problems with the left joy con. Also there has been lag issues with the joy cons when the system is docked for tv play. So i have not gotten a pro controller yet, but I have read that the sync and lag issues are non existent on the pro controller. All in all I love the Switch. I highly recommend it. It's Nintendo after all and they do not disappoint when it comes to their own ip's.

It has an easy-to-use interface as with any Nintendo product. Has many apps to choose from on the Nintendo store including Youtube and Hulu. So you can already enjoy it even without a game cartridge.
