The nintendo switch is a great little console, and is exactly what you would expect from a nintendo product, Fun and niche. After playing it i highly recommend a pro controller if you are an adult (especially if you have large hands) the joycons are small,the top buttons are close together and holding it in the controller mount is uncomfortable. other then that it is enjoyable if you wish to use it on the go i also recommend buying a case it is sturdy but looks like it will scratch easy and has no way to protect the screen.

Nintendo outdid itself with the Switch. The portable/dockable concept works unbelievably great. The device feels a little heavy, but I suppose its as light as they could make it. And, of course, Mario, Zelda are must have games for the console.

I am so impressed with the Switch. The ability to play full games on the go and pick up instantly at home is fantastic. The graphics are great and the gameplay is fluid. If you love Nintendo, don’t hesitate on this. A great product in every way!

After 5 long months of searching, I finally copped the Switch and I couldn’t be more happy. I haven’t had a game system since I was a kid, so I have been extremely satisfied with playing the Switch.

I was finally able to get the Switch after months of trying to order it everywhere. The system was easy to setup and the games are great. Definitely a must have. Do not hesitate to get yourself one!

The switch is a great gaming console because of its portability. Unfortunately I think I left my original one in a hotel room so I had to buy a second unit. Very happy, would highly recommend this gaming system.

The switch provides entertainment for everyone in the family. We each have our own games that we like Or help each other with another game. I love this system as you can play it on the go or on the big screen.

Nothing much to say about the Switch other than it's a great system. The newer model has some upgrades like a better screen and longer battery life, so it's definitely worthwhile to pick this up over the older model.

Brought this for my grandson birthday and he loves it. It's awesome and have a lot of games that I can play with my grandson

I love having a portable console!!! I take it on work trips, I take it on family trips, I play at home on my couch, I play at home with the family, I play in the car with the family, we play at Grandma's house as a family. It's been AMAZING!!!

This was the first gaming console that I got for my family. Was really simple to get, no damage. So far all of the family enjoys it, including 9 year old that is recently being introduced to video games. Doesn't get full marks because one of the JoyCons stopped being recognized by the controller, however it was a REALLY simple fix (restart console+reset the JoyCons). Overall, great console that the whole family can use!

This console works amazing as both a traditional console as well as a handheld. I enjoy being able to be right in the middle of a game and just pull the Switch out of the dock and continue playing. Very well designed UI and very responsive.

My household is full of Nintendo fanboys, but we know the Wii wasn't a smash hit. We liked the Wii U, but LOVE the Switch! You can play it as a console or a handheld and who couldn't use the versatility of that?! We bought one of each controllers and like them all. No it can't do fancy tricks like the PS4 and doesn't have a ton of storage, but the versatility makes up for that in my opinion. No longer must everyone suffer through watching my kindergartener play the same level of Skylanders repeatedly, or my husband exploring the endless world of Zelda. With the Switch, when we want to watch tv all you do is take the handheld out of the cartridge and continue playing without missing a beat, and Tada! the tv is free! Also, the whole system can be packed up and taken to grandma's or on vacation. Don't forget the perk of being able to play Nintendo exclusive games! The game cartridges are tiny much like the DS so they also are very portable, especially if you buy a carrying case. My only negative critique is that in true Nintendo style, there are limited games on release. We lucked out that the two we were most excited about came out first, Zelda and Imaginators, but we can't wait for some other releases!

I own a v1 Switch and I got this v2 Switch for my sister. The difference in battery life is very noticeable. I’d recommend to anyone that plays for extended periods of time in handheld mode.

I've played for about 50-60 hours since I got the system back in December, and school has been the only reason why that number isn't triple what it is. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Super Mario Odyssey are all I've had time for. The fact that I can take this full fledged system wherever I go, kill an hour here and there, is just amazing. I can get about 6 hours with a full charge, which is pretty decent. There's so many fantastic games out right now that I cannot wait to get, and plenty more coming out in the next few months. Definitely recommend.

Its perfect to bring family together and enjoy fun games!!!!

Nintendo has always been an innovator when it comes to video game systems, and the Nintendo Switch is no exception. The Switch has several great features going for it. While not as powerful as the Playstation 4 or Xbox One, the Switch is still more than powerful enough to output great video quality. When in hand-held (mobile) mode, the Switch runs at 720p. When docked, the Switch can reach up to 1080p. Notice I said up to. Not all games run at 1080. Zelda: Breath of the Wild, for example, runs at 900p. Don't let this minor dip in resolution deter you from playing on the Switch, however. The average user will not notice any hit to the visual quality of the games. If I had not read about the resolution, I would have thought it was 1080p quality. Like any new game system, the game library is small. This is not enough to dock points from the review, however. Zelda is such a great game to keep players occupied for a while until new games are released. Mario Kart, Splatoon 2, Super Street Fighter, Mario Oddsey, and many other great games are soon to come. The portability of the Switch is my favorite feature of the system. It offers players the ability to take the fun with them on the go. Games can be played on your big screen when the system is placed in the Switch docking station. The docking station even charges your system. When removed from the dock, the system can play games on the Switch's large screen. The screen is larger than that of the Nintendo 3DS XL screens, and the 720p resolution is more than enough to deliver amazing image quality. The one minor flaw with the system is that it fits a bit snug when placed in the docking station. There are some rubber grips inside the dock that hold the Switch game system in place. While it may not seem like a big deal at first, over time docking and undocking the system will smudge (and possibly scratch) the screen of the Switch. Some easy and cheap solutions to resolve this issue are to 1) buy a glass screen protector for the Switch screen, or 2) buy a felt slip-cover to place over the wall of the docking station to prevent rubbing by the Switch. Although this is a minor annoyance, once you install the above mentioned solution, the issue will no longer be of concern. In closing, I think that the Switch is a great system and I see myself using it as my primary game system. I'll still use the PS4 and Xbox One, but the portability and game library are what will keep me playing. It's great for road trips and playing at home.
