Was able to buy this during quarantine! It took me a few days to get it when it’s in stock because it’s bery competitive. However, I’ve been playing nonstop!

We got this for our son since he’s been wanting since for a very long time. He loves to play Splatoon 2 on this and it’s difficult for us to make him stop to take a break. I would give this five stars!

This thing has been tons of fun the past several months of ownership (got it in May 2020 - revewing in Dec 2020). The only warning i'll give is - beware, it's EASY to go well beyond the $300 base price buying accessories and such. So plan out what extras you think you'll need (extra dock, pro controller, extra joycons, carrying case, online membership, etc). Still a good value overall. Also of note, in the 6+ months of ownership, i haven't had any joycon drifting issues. BUt i also don't use the joycons/handheld mode that often - mostly pro controller in docked mode.

Purchased this as an option for my kids. I am the one who has been using it the most. Working great. Having the option to play on your TV set or on the go is just great

I actually bought this for myself after my ex bought one for my son. I primarily play Animal Crossings but it is super easy to use and haven’t had any issues.

Brand speaks for itself. Haven't purchased a console new since the GameCube came out. Quite pleased with the Switch. Options for popular and indie games are a-plenty.

Who needs another rave review of the Switch? I've owned every major video game system and many minor ones since the early 90's, this one is solidly ahead of the pack but from strictly a hardware standpoint, I wouldn't put it on top. It does everything it promises to, but it's the least excited I've been for a console since well, I bought a WiiU. While I'm glad Nintendo made something that indie developers are able to port their games to, at this point I know I'm only ever buying a Nintendo console to play a handful of first party games. That experience so far, has been phenomenal, and recommending Zelda and Mario isn't necessary, that is why you're getting a Switch in mid-2018. But I can't help but feel like for $300 this is hard to recommend over a cheaper Xbox One S if I only had to have one system. It gets even harder to stomach when you factor in the $70+ controllers and the $60 Nintendo games that almost never go on sale. I suppose it depends on who you are, where you are in life and what you want out of a gaming console, but the Switch feels like a compromise as a portable system and as a home console. The system itself just doesn't have the same build quality that I would expect from Nintendo hardware, it reminds me of a cheap Android tablet. The Wii and WiiU felt like they were made with nicer build materials, the matte plastic all over this bad boy and the dock are just kind of stale. This is an easy 5 star at $200 which it will inevitably get to, but this version of the console feels like the original fat DS to me and I'm looking forward to the DS Lite equivalent for the Switch.

Nintendo is an expert in creating fun, think outside the box games. the system is perfect to entertain one person or several. Best buy delivered as promised.

Absolutely love this system, and would love to buy it as a gift. Based on previews, I wan't sold until I finally decided to buy it. Needless to say, I'm hooked and have been recommending it to everyone.

Bought this for my son for Christmas last year. He loves it. Great to play at home on the tv or take it on the car on long road trips. Good variety of games.

Decided to get the original over the OLED model as was mostly using it connected to a TV and the OLED primarily upgrades the Switch's screen without much of an upgrade to the processor. Spent ~$25 on a memory card to increase storage space. Would have preferred to get a bundle with a game I was interested in, but them's the breaks.

Its a Nintendo switch i think you get it. My first one lasted years 8 years before i had to buy a replacement.

The Switch is exactly what we hoped it would be. Easy to play on the tv and easier to carry along. The remotes, when taken apart, are a but uncomfortable at first, since they are small, but you adjust.

If you are on the fence about the Nintendo Switch. Don't be. I couldn't be happier with my purchase of this thing. The design is so slick and intuitive that I was actually sorry that I waited as long as I did to pick it up. But now is as good a time as ever to jump into the Nintendo family. If you were waiting because the game collection was small, now is perfect. The console has a steadily growing library of Nintendo games as well as some Triple A titles on it. Recently you just got DOOM, Skyrim, and Wolfenstein 2. And if you know anything about the Switch, that means you can take all of these games with you in travel/handheld mode. That is a lot of gameplay value in a portable package. The ability to play the Switch in a multitude of modes makes it worth the purchase alone. But so does the user friendly interface, the included accessories of the dock and the Joy cons. If I had anything to knock the switch for, it would be for the flimsy kickstand for tablet / table top mode and the battery life. The battery is decent and will get you a few good hours of gaming but it's not going to last all day. The kickstand also is mounted to the side of the console as opposed ot the center. It's also thin and flimsy feeling. Mine has not broken, but it seems as though it is not extremely stable at all times. I would definitely recommend the Switch to a casual gamer and even some more hardcore gamers as the library continues to grow. There's already some awesome games planned for the console to come out in the next year, and the Switch shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

This switch was a replacement switch for one that were bought in July. The original one did not even make it 4 months, and we hardly used it during those four months (maybe less than 15 times). It was obviously a manufacturer's issue. Because we bought the warranty, they were able to replace it with a brand new one, BUT I had to purchase a new service warranty gwith the new switch. You would think that Nintendo would stand behind their product and replace the original even if I didn't have the warrenty. I'm hoping this replacement does not have the same issue bc we bought a game that my son loves, and he had been playing with the switch EVERY DAY. It's heady that it's portable and that you can play with more than one person even in its portable move. Now that the kids are using it, I would have to say that this was a good investment

I've been a owner of a Nintendo console since the introduction of the SNES. The Nintendo Switch is well worth it as it provides entertainment that the whole family could enjoy like Nintendo's previous consoles. In the age of online gaming Xbox and Playstation have limited games with two plus, local multi-player. That isn't the problem here when you can picks from a great amount of products that'll allow four people to play in the same room. If you're tired of it hogging the big screen you have the option to play games on the portable screen mode. You can't go wrong buying this.
