I wasn't allowed a gaming console growing up, so I was always going over to my friend's to play Zelda on his. Been considering the Switch for a while, wanting to play Breath of the Wild. With the updated version, I finally went for it. I have had a lot of fun with it. Zelda is so much fun to play, and the portability of this system makes it so ideal. I would highly recommend getting one if you've had an itch to play any of its games.

By far the best system out there in my opinion. The fast that this is a protable and stationary system amazes me. My daughter loves timhis system and the nintendo specific games that we purchased as well. I grew up using the original nintendo and nintendo 64 so being able to purchase alot of the same games for my daughter gave her the opportunity to experience what i did as a child. Highly recommend!!!

Nintendo went ALL out on thier SWITCH. This is literally a home gaming system and portable HD 9" screen hand held system. It's very intuitive how everything works together. From the docking station to the joy/con controllers. Two minor downsides; the controllers are tiny and so are the game cartridges. Yes, you heard right-no discs, just very small DS/Gamboy size cartridges. I see my kids easily losing these things. Also, when I play a game with them my huge hands engulf the tiny joy/cons making it difficult to play. The solution for die hard adult gamers or those with large hands- nintendo's wireless controller (similar size to an Xbox 1 controller) Get this, just the other day my kids were playing Mario kart and it was time to leave for out soccer game that was an hour away. They literally paused the game, un-docked the system and within minutes were right where they left off, gaming the whole way in the car. Surprisingly the battery stayed full and my kids happy on a road trip. Just BRILLIANT. Needs more games, but that's expected with launch date of March 2017. Can't wait for splatoon 2 and the new Mario. This system will be the number one console this Christmas, better get yours now.

My kids were asking for a Switch all summer but couldn't find one. Ended up finding one which turned into a birthday present and his reaction of surprise and happiness was worth it for me. Lots of fun so far playing Mario Kart and Odyssey. The whole family gets into Mario Kart. The ease of taking the Switch where ever he goes is really nice, but it is also cool to hook it up to the screen for multiplayer use.

I was so excited to receive this item because since we are all at home and quarantined, we needed something to lift our spirits and have us come together. The switch is such a fun way to have many people play together and have fun. Definitely a great way to have friends come over and play together because of the games. Sucks that this does not come with any games, but most of the games are very fun and worth the money.

The Nintendo Switch is a wonderful system that combines the portability of a tablet with the power of a regular gaming console. Being able to take your Switch out of the dock and immediately be back in what you were just playing on the TV? Terrific! Being able to use the Joycons as two separate controllers for multiplayer focused games is also a terrific bonus provided you don't have hands the size of a normal adult. The portability is great because they can just snap onto the Switch itself, but using a single Joycon as a controller is difficult to do due to the size. The library is still currently small for the Switch, with only a handful of games that are REALLY worth your time. However, Nintendo seems to be doing right by their consumers this time and working hard on third-party development for the system. While there aren't many games CURRENTLY for the system that are worth your time, the Switch will soon be a worthwhile investment and an excellent addition to your home entertainment. Terrific console for kids as well.

Great quality fun to play games with friends and family never a dull moment with my switch around

I absolutely love the Nintendo Switch. The ability to play my games on both the TV and on the go is something I didn't ever really think was possible. The system design cleverly blends a table with conventional gaming controls that several others have tried, and failed, to do before (Nvidia Shiled Tablet comes to mind). It is easy and very satisfying to "unclick" the controllers from the sides of the tablet portion for use as either individual controllers, or to dock them into the included grip for use as a more conventional controller. Although the controllers are on the smaller side, I have not experienced any discomfort with extended, hours-long play sessions so far. The buttons are easy to differentiate and I did not find myself pressing more than one at a time, etc. Nintendo does make a pro controller for those who want something different, so your mileage may vary. The tablet itself easily slides into the included docking station and within seconds is displaying game information on the TV. The included HDMI cable (still not a standard inclusion for all media devices these days) is a good length so I was able to connect to the TV with no problems. The included power/USB-C cord was likewise a good length so I didn't have to compromise on where I stationed the dock. Battery life has been about as expected for a tablet pushing out such high-quality games, and I have not had issues with running out of power, especially since you can charge via USB-C which I use for my phone as well. I have had a great time playing Switch so far (Zelda being one of the absolute best games I have played in years), and am really looking forward to many of the games on the horizon, as well as the forthcoming online system and classic game system. I look forward to what Nintendo has to offer, and am thrilled with what I've got so far!

I decided to buy a Switch because I wanted to have a portable gaming system. I have gaming laptops, a gaming desktop, and all of the consoles. They are all a pain to travel with. The switch is easy to travel with, runs great after hours of play, and docks simply and perfectly everytime. Don't listen to the reviews about people sharpshooting the system because it's hard to hold. Nonsense. If you don't want to play with the joycons attached...use the rear kickstand and detach the joycons.

It’s portable it’s reliable and it has some of the beat games of any console generation. From Nintendo titles like Pokemon and Smash Bris to 3rd patty like Hades and Final Fantasy you can play it all and take it on the road. You will probably play it more as a hand held than on the big screen though both are enjoyable. I would recommend a grip case though as it can be fatiguing as a hand held.

The CSR that helped me make this purchase was fantastic! Maybe some of the best, most knowledgeable guy, I have ever encountered working retail. He educated me on the intricacies of Nintendo.

I bought this with a case and 2 new games, Mario kart 8 and super smash and it's amazing! Buy that protection plan though! I'm sure it comes through in the long run in case of accidental damage. ALWAYS make sure that you press the joy-con lock before taking it off the switch otherwise it will mess up the joy-con and it automatically slides off. Just be very wary around the joy-cons! Other than that I'm very satisfied!

This console is great for children and adults, it has 2 joycons that can be used as a single controller or separately for 2 players. The ease of going from tv viewing to using the switch screen is incredible. The console itself is getting children’s AAA titles like Mario odyssey and Zelda to Adult AAA tiles such as Skyrim and Wolfenstein. They even are allowing third party apps to be made such as Hulu and Netflix to take your shows on the go. It’s going to be the console of the year

Got this deal for Christmas and it's been a fun game console ever since I really enjoyed playing it got a couple of new games on here and going to get some more and it's been a great deal I can take it pretty much anywhere and goes with man stays fully charged for a long time I had the battery pack so that even helps me stay fully charged even more so it's it's also enjoy it I really do

IN LOVE. I’m so happy I was able to get my hands on a console since they’re in high demand. Set up is super easy as long as you read all the instructions. Battery life is great as long as you don’t have the brightness all the way up for an extended period of time. I find myself playing with the console docked anyway, using the joy-con grip. But the versatility with this system is great.

Newest Switch model just out December 2019. Definitely a big improvement over the last system. Battery seems to last forever. Heavier wiring and cords don't fatigue and fail like the last model. Seems to run cooler, performs more responsively, and probably has other minor improvements as well. This unit is well worth more than the previous unit that they bribed people to buy instead on clearance by including Mario Cart 8.

It took me a long time to get the Switch once lockdown started but I was able to purchase one through Best Buy! Anyway, I'm glad I waited for this system because Nintendo updated the battery which seemed to be a problem with earlier Switch systems. I love the graphics and play it more as a handheld than on my TV, even the hook up is very simple. If you can get your hands on a Switch, get it now!!!
