Bought this for my son he loves it, works great and is portable great for long car rides.

Pros - Fun console though it's best to buy the digital copies and install them on the optional SD card. Nintendo online gives you access to NES and SNES games. Cond- The best games on this console were all previously released on the Wii U, Online retro game library is small compared to other Nintendo consoles. You also can't access online games you own for other consoles.

I'm a big fan of handheld gaming. DS, PSP, 3DS, and even the Vita are among my most-played game systems - and that says a lot. If you prefer the biggest, best graphics possible then this isn't the system for you. If, like me, you prefer flexibility and convenience then this is a great choice. (Personally, it's worth buying for Breath of the Wild alone for those without a Wii U.) Looking to the future, the library will be great, even if the launch period is pretty slim. (Not that it's any different than other console launches.) While the Switch may be underpowered if you look at it purely as a home console, it absolutely destroys the handheld market as it is today. Temper your expectations accordingly. Features and OS are light for now but are also planned to be more robust. If you're a fan of Nintendo's first-party games, then this is a no brainer; all Wii U production and soon all 3DS production teams will be making games just for this one system. This will also likely become the go-to console for smaller Japanese developers, much like the 3DS and Vita before it.

Get one if you can. Great for the kids! Even for adults to play multiplayer.

My 7 year old loves this. It’s easy to connect to the tv and disconnectung to take it on the go is a breeze. Only problem is sliding the part on the joy cons that make them hand held. You have to make sure U match the + and -. My daughter didn’t know and we had the hardest time trying to slide it off.

Love the console, especially its portability and wide range of games. The out of the box joycons aren't great for extended handheld play but there are great 3rd party joycons available that are actually cheaper AND better than the OEM joycons.

My son loves his switch and it's so easy to set up and very convenient.
