While I was a fan of the Wii U, the system simply lacked something that the others didn't have. The Nintendo Switch has filled that void in offering multiple ways to enjoy gaming on the system. The engineering that went into the design of this console is something that should be applauded. Having the ability to play the system conventionally (on the TV) or on the go is a HUGE plus. The number of different controller configurations and how they all interact flawlessly with the main console is impressive to say the least. While the Joy-Con controllers take some time to get used to, the adapter and availability of the Pro controller give common gamers a more natural feel. While it is still relatively new to the market, I would've liked to see more titles at the launch of the system. Zelda BOtW is amazing; however, I feel as though converting some of the games already available for the Wii U to the Switch would have been a relatively simple task for Nintendo. This would've given all of the early adopters something to hold them over until the new releases such as Super Mario Odyssey or Splatoon 2 were ready. All in all, I am extremely happy with the purchase of the system (and even happier that I was able to stumble across one in store!). If you're looking for something unique from the conventional Xbox/PS4 experience, I would definitely recommend you give this system a try!

I've been waiting to get my hands on one since the beginning of March. I absolutely love how convenient it is on the go, I can take it with me when I go to my friends so we can play together in person or when we are social distancing. The game selection is also great. Must have for anyone who wants to kill some time

The switch is a great console because it has a docking system to hook up to the TV. It is also compact if you like to travel. It does not take up a lot of space and has exclusive games to the Nintendo franchise like Pokemon Sword and Shield and Super Smash Bros. Newer version (the one in the red box) has a longer battery life.

It's kind of hard to choose the best gaming system as they each have strengths and weaknesses. But the Switch probably has the best balance. The sheer versatility of modes makes this device stand out. The game selection is good, especially the ones that use the motion controls well, which is most of them. Definitely recommend.

The Switch is Nintendo's 7th home console since they launched the Nes/Famicom back in the '80s. After the failure of their previous console, the Wii U, (of which I own alongside a slew of other Nintendo consoles and handhelds), Nintendo seems to have gotten their magic back, and the Switch is a worldwide phenomenon. What is the Switch? The Nintendo Switch is like most traditional home gaming consoles in that it can be connected and hook up to a tv for gameplay, so as long as it's in the dock. However, unlike other home gaming consoles, it can fully function as a traditional gaming handheld device, by connecting the joy cons to the side of the console rails, similar to other Nintendo handhelds. It can also be used in tabletop mode. I purchased a few games (Smash, Xenoblade DE, Mario Kart), an online membership, and a Pro Controller, which I highly recommend, so I'm ready to play! Let's hope joy con drifting doesn't set in! All in all, as someone who's been playing Nintendo since the 64 days, I've continued to stick with them, and will do so, for as long as possible. Great job, Nintendo!

I'm having a lot of fun with this. The games are plentiful and there is always more coming out. Came out of the box in tip top shape and I haven't had trouble with Joy-con drift yet. It's something you can have fun with friends and family or by yourself on the big screen, a computer monitor, or just handheld.

Great price and great gaming console! I also appreciate the fact that they’re are parental controls to help keep my child safe.

I love the switch, I alway wanted a portable console, I like the games more than DS games, I love to play rocket league on it.

I enjoy playing with this Nintendo Switch. I like that I can hook it up to my television or play as a tablet. It comes with everything you will need/want. This is an excellent game system for the family. And for such a great price. I would recommend this to any family who likes to play video games together.

I bought this for my kids, I love that we can take gaming anywhere. I initially thought when buying this my kids would have to take turns, but the Switch allows the system to become 2 players. We connected at home, in the car or even at the hotels when on vacation... literally a gaming system that can fit in a fanny pack!

This is an excellent console that you can take with you anywhere. Shortly after I bought it, I had to be on a 23 hours trip to Asia and this helped me sit through the long flight! The battery last about 2 and half hours because I was playing the new Zelda game, but fortunately I bought an additional charging cable so I can hook it up on the plane and play it all the way through. It's really an amazing experience with what you can do with this gaming system. The game selection right now maybe small but Nintendo is announcing more games than you imagine. With Mario Kart 8 coming and Disagea, I maybe set for the year. If you are still on the edge of getting this, just imagine taking the console with you because your family member wants to use the TV or in the middle of the gaming that you need to use the toilet! (laugh).. I think you get it. ;)

Versatility of this game is amazing. The fact that i can play at home and also away from it makes it a great console.controllers are really bad.

I’ve been really happy with the Switch, it’s just so fast and easy to toggle it between a traditional home console setup you use with your TV and a powerful tablet-like portable gaming device. The included controllers are fully-featured, with all the buttons and motion inputs you’ll need for modern games and good battery life. With games like Zelda Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2, and then Super Smash Bros. Ultimate coming later this year… there’s so much quality content to choose from. There’s also a good sprinkling of games from other developers too, though they’re often scaled back a bit to match the Switch’s portable capabilities. Overall, an excellent system, get one yourself, and get your friends to get Switches too so you can all play Splatoon 2 online together…!

Easy to carry to and from because of the size. Seems to have a long battery life between charging time. Overall very content with the purchase.

Impulse purchase when I saw this finally available on Best Buy still can't believe I got lucky. This console was been MIA in retail stores and I refused to pay extra if purchased somewhere else since MSRP is already expensive. Anyway, as expected I love it. It is my go to stress buster from all the anxieties during this time of pandemic. How I wish had it earlier before shelter in place. Am no gamer or techy person, setting up was easy as long as you know how to read & can follow instructions you can do it! You can either buy your games thru Nintendo's e-shop or buy from stores/online stores. Games are still on the expensive side averaging $50 depending on the game so keep your eyes open for any good deals on games out there. My must have accessories for starters like me are screen protector, case protector and of course at least one game, you might need a micro SD too due to limited memory 32GB. If you have some spare micro SD you used from your old phones or camera it will work too save your money for your games instead.

I was so excited to get one of the last ones in stock before Christmas. This is exactly what my son wanted as he wanted to upgrade from the Lite and the Switch2 was out of budget.

Nintendo has finally sent out something absolutely fantastic. I've enjoyed Nintendo systems since the late 80s. The Switch finally breaks new ground and bridges the gap between console and handheld. It has enough power to be a traditional console, with the flexibility to be used as a handheld system. They really cracked the mold on this one. Great job, Nintendo!
