I was hesitant to buy this console due to my age and “responsibilities”. But how can you turned down Zelda?!? Mario Odyssey?!? Mario Kart?!? These are the games you grew up with!!! It’s kind of bringing back the nostalgia! But let me tell you, when you’re at home and instead of watching “breaking bad” you just turn on your switch! You Play for couple hours just as you would do every night you go home and watch boring t.v. . Best thing? Now You can do both! You put the tv on and let everyone watch what ever they want while you play on your switch! You press pause. You follow up with the show and back to your switch! Wife wants to watch the bachelor and dancing with the stars?? No problem! You’ll just take a ride with your horse and visit kakariko village and try to find all the darn chickens that escaped from their cage again! Or do those Mario backflips while you catch the star! You have kids? Not a problem! Buy Another controller, split the two controllers into four players and now they all can play Mario kart or splatoon! And you can feel happy when you throw those bannanas at the last second and win the race, showing you still are the Mario kart master! In other words it’s soooo worth the money! Yeah, we grow up day by day and we do have to pay the darn credit card bill at the end of the month and still have to wake up at 7 a.m. because 8 o’clock traffic just sucks. But for the love of god let me save Zelda and princess Peach one more time!

I've loved Nintendo games for a long time, but the biggest issue I had was having a device that held a lot of games in one space without the need for a physical external drive. This device not only runs extremely smooth, it holds a lot of storage for what you pay for it. Would definitely recommend to anyone who has the heart for Nintendo games like I do.

Got this to replace my launch version with Gray joy-con. Colors are bright and fun, battery is better, and overall this feels more premium than my original Switch - very happy!

I’ve been wanting a Nintendo Switch for awhile but my girlfriend and I were both juggling 2 jobs for the last year and a half. We have a 2 1/2 year daughter that is always interested in the games we play on our phone. Both of us being Nintendo owners ever since we were kids (hence the back to the Super Nintendo & N64 days) We knew we wanted our daughter to be part of that upcoming and love what Nintendo has to offer and the amazing games and console development over the years! Since the pandemic started and us doing our part by staying in, the switch definitely came in handy and enjoy every aspect it has to offer! Thank you Best Buy and Nintendo!

I bought this system to help with exercise. I use to have a Wii and needed a system that would get me moving. It was easy to set up and plenty of game to keep you moving.

I haven’t bought a new gaming system in a while and thought now was the time after seeing multiple ads for the Switch. The reason why I mostly decided to buy this console was the new Zelda game that became available. All I have to say is WOW. The game is as good as I’ve heard!! I also have the Mario Kart game, Splatoon, and most recently Snipper Clippers. I recommend all of these games for any age! I also love how mobile this console is. I invested in a travel case since I am always going between my place and my boyfriend’s place. The dock, which even came with an HDMI cable, is such a nice touch! I can play it solo or hook it up for others to join in or watch! Overall I recommend this console to anyone looking for something new and fresh to try!

Way different concept of gameplay! My kids enjoy it and I love the fact that it can go anywhere with you. I just think the controls are ridiculously small so if you have big hands, it will be a struggle to play games.

Nintendo has always been the company that dances to the beat of its own drum. They somehow think of ideas we always wanted, but never realized we wanted it. Nintendo continues to revolutionize gaming, while the others continue on a path of incremental graphical upgrades. The Nintendo Switch is an incredible console hybrid. First off, the joy-con are comfortable, intuitive, and incredibly versatile. Right out of the box, you are able to have multiplayer experiences. Neon Red is bright! And I am obsessed. The system itself is a marvel. The screen is bright and beautiful. It's incredible that everything is running on that small tablet. And because of this, you can literally take your truly console gaming on the go. You don't appreciate this idea until you actually are playing the next AAA console Zelda game on your lunch break at work. Build quality is excellent. Nothing feels cheap or like a "child's toy" about the Switch. Finally, you get the world class developers of Nintendo. There will be no shortage of great games to play. Third parties remain to be seen, but the indie community loves the Switch and I can tell you, there is no better way to play indies than on the go on the Switch. To me the system is already five stars because of what it is and what it offers. I hope it is a massive success for Nintendo and third parties take notice because this console is truly game changing. Only thing I wish it had were achievements -- come on Nintendo, patch that in. But even without them, I cannot recommend the Switch enough.

As some YouTubers say, this system punches above its weight class. It produces visual you would not expect from a portable system. It can be played on a television or in hand, which is extremely useful when you want to continue your game but you need to leave the house. The game are fun, the system comes with two controllers and the battery lasts longer than you would expect. Plenty of games on this tiny system have kept me entertained for hundreds of hours since purchase.

I love the portability and the ability to play on a big screen as well. many games titles available and a solid unit when on the go. Wish I would have bought sooner!

Following its huge success with the DS systems, I knew it was only in time, Nintendo would come up with some kind of hybrid system that you can take portably and enjoy at the comfort of your home. The ability to just pick up where you left off is convenient. These joy con controllers are surprisingly comfortable to hold, and the battery life on them is great. It's a bit small when holding sideways, and I actually have yet to try that feature out myself with any game, as the only game I currently have, is BoTW. The battery life on them seem pretty good. Never need to experience a low charge warning. The Switch itself in portable mode is pretty good. 3 hours is about what I get playing BoTW. At the time of the release, I can honestly say that I was one of those people who would wait a few months into it's life till I get this device. There wasn't much great games on it's library that caught my attention, besides BoTW. Now that it's September, the games library is starting to pick up! I cannot wait for DBZ Xenoverse 2, Fire Emblem Warriors, Mario Odyssey, Xenoblade Chronicles to drop this year. I am a physical game buyer, but if you're into the digital downloads, make sure you pick up a memory card. 128 GB seems enough, but to each their own. Also, the eShop for Switch is currently is still pretty small. Because it's a region free device however, you definitely should check out Japan's eShop. It has a PLETHORA of games on there that are not here in the west just yet. The do have One Piece, DBZ Xenoverse 2 (which will be released here in the west next week!) Dragon Quest Heroes 1&2, and soon the Dynasty Warriors 8 franchise! You need to have a Japan eShop points/currency to buy the games however :) The only unfortunate thing, is that there currently is no VC on the Switch. If I recall correctly, Nintendo does plan to implement VC into the Switch, but 6 months later since it's release, it's still no where to be found. Even the recent September Direct, no new news about whether VC is coming in the foreseeable future.

I am so happy that I was able to get one! It’s an amazing console and there are many amazing games that it is compatible with it. Very fun, even for the whole family to play with.

the console is really easy to install and start playing. my kids really love it and the option to play without TV it's a huge benefit when you have long trip planed with kids... they were able to play for many hours..

I love this game console. I wanted months for it to restock and was so excited when I was able to finally get one. Long battery life and easy to hold. Makes for endless fun

Purchased this as a gift for my son. Works well. It’s portable during traveling and it can connect to TV as well. It’s nice that you can add additional players, when needed.

The Switch is the most unique system I've ever owned. It's really interesting how they created so many ways to play with 1 device. I really only play docked, but it's nice to have other options. I was worried the Joy Cons with the Joy Con Grip wouldn't be very comfortable, but it actually feels pretty good. On the software side, like how fast it is to move from a game into the home screen and back again. A few minor complaints: the kickstand is hard to pull out. I don't really use it, so it's not a big deal. I also feel like I'm going to break something when I dock/undock the Switch. I wish it felt a little sturdier.
