Great guft for grandkids. Bought 2 of threse for grandsons (4 and 5) last Christmas an they both loved them.

The new battery life is amazing. I bought this for my significant other for our anniversary to play the new Pokemon games on with me. During some preliminary tests right before the games release, hers outlasts my original unit by hours. So this is a much improved unit and I am debating just buying me one and gifting my old unit to a family friend or something. Plus new joy-cons always feel nice in your hands. And the colors are amazing.

Congrats to Nintendo for launching the Switch! I'm also glad I never bought into the Nintendo Wii U. They could have saved a lot of loyal followers if they had just made this instead of the Wii U. Then again, I guess without the U, maybe the switch wouldn't have been conceived. Game play is good, nowhere near a PS4 or XBox, but then again, Nintendo's mission to me, is more fun for everyone over video quality. Hands down, the Switch is fun. If you're still playing with the original Wii, switch over to the Switch. You won't regret it.

Bought this to occupy my time after surgery...and it did just that! Took it to my parents (61 & 59) for my 5yr old nephew to play. My dad and nephew played it together and had a blast! So much so that we jist bought my dad his own!!

My third switch in the household. Nintendo switch is the best system in my book. Great graphics, the best games and portable to boot! The only down side I have seen is the quality. The quality of the hardware is poor compared to other Nintendo hardware. Drifting joycons ( can easily be cleaned with some know how ) cracks in the vents, one of the units fans had to be replaced! It's a great system. But im hoping Nintendo fixes these issues.

Console is good for the family especially for the kids, great way to have a family night with them and move around having them play some just dance.

Switch is super easy to set up, super fun to play and an amazing pass time for when you have friends over.

After the mediocrity that has been the Wii and the only slight improvement that Nintendo brought with the Wii U, I had begun to lose my extreme interest in following whatever it was Nintendo was up to at the time. When the switch was leaked I was horrified at the prospect of a console that "bridged the gap between portable and console gaming". However after the release and the long wait to find a unit, I must say I am blown away. The hand-held + portability of the console was something I didn't think I would care much for and was glad that there is the option to simply dock the switch and play on my TV in a traditional format. However I find that I am bringing my switch on the go whenever I can and am immensely enjoying the portability and power that the switch holds. The joy cons are quite comfortable and were easy to adjust quickly to. The starting line-up of games has been on the smaller end but is packed with many great hits right off the bat. Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Arms, Splatoon 2, and more are all keeping me busy for hours. And with many new games coming up this fall and next year I can't wait to see what Nintendo has in store for us this generation. Definitely recommend jumping on the Switch train now!

This is a great console for families. Easy to use and new extended battery life on recently released model is a plus.

The Pros: Portable, Nintendo exclusives, 3rd party support will surely come The Cons: Least powerful console, plastic screen prone to scratches, joycon is not an ideal gamepad, you'll spend more money on necessary accessories More cons than pros, but I still recommend it. The portability alone makes it unique. Back in the days, gamers would get together and actually play games and socialize in person, but online multiplayer gaming has made that less possible. Nintendo Switch brings the people together to play games. It feels really good to be able to come visit my friend in person and play together on our own Switches; the same feeling I have when I brought my 3DS to his home. This is a big reason to own the Switch and it may appeal to the more outgoing gamers than the ones who play games in the dark while being alone at home in their rooms. Humans are social animals which need to socialize in person, so the Switch satisfies this need. With that really important point that it's portable, plus Nintendo exclusives and promises of 3rd party support to come, I'm sold on it, and you should be, too.

I bought this earlier this year.... Waited too late & had a hard time finding one in stock. I felt like I found the holy grail when I was able to purchase this. During this pandemic, it has been a life saver. My anxiety is down by leaps and bounds. Looking for stress relief? Definitely try Animal Crossing New Horizons. I am very happy & grateful this purchase. I would definitely buy it again. It's worth every penny I paid for it!

Purchased to stave off quarantine boredom (like everyone else) and I'm so glad I was able to get my hands on one. This totally matched my expectations and delivered on what I was looking for. The easy set-up was mostly automatic, and I like that games can be downloaded so I don't have to store a bunch more stuff in the house. As a bonus, the membership is completely worth the price, we're having so much fun with the NES and SNES games!

My son had to wait months for this Nintendo Switch. And just when we were going to give up and purchase another product, it came back in stock for a day! He is absolutely haply with his Nintendo switch. Setting it up was so easy. Although the battery life isnt the best, its fine considering we limit our kids electronic usage to 1 hour a day. It has a lot of great features we cant wait to try. I definitely recommend this product to others.

Very fun to play with friends and portable to go on the road

It's a Switch, there isn't much to say; if you are reading this stop thinking about it and buy it. This is my second one (my wife has taken over the first one) and I am still just as impressed. The games are great and there is something for all ages; I'm in my late 20s and the next gem consoles don't interest me nearly as much as my Switch.

I bought this to give away as a prize. I had a lot of interested participants Also our grandkids were gifted a Nintendo switch and they enjoy playing the games very much.

Great handheld product!! All around good for a decent starter for kids and adults.
