We have two switches in our household. One for me and one for my 10 year old son. I know I should have shared, but the Switch is such a great system I had to have my own else I would never get to play with it. I has the portability of a good gaming phone and the versatility of the larger game systems. It is limited to 1080p when using it as a traditional gaming console but that is a sacrifice I am willing to make for the over versatility and portability of the system. No system is perfect. The kickstands on the switch need to be beefed up and the battery needs a bit more longevity. If you are going to make a portable system then the battery is one of the components you need to build the platform around. The Joy-Cons seem to have issues industry wide and this needs to be corrected by Nintendo. One of the biggest selling points of the Switch is that it's a portable gaming system and as such the controller need to work and not flake out on you when you are on a long family vacation.

A well built system with many upcoming titles and current to keep you busy only downside is small controllers for those with bigger hands

Pretty easy to set up. I do wish it came with instructions on how to hook it up to the TV as well.

This is my third one, kids keep taking them over! Great new and old titles to play with the whole fam.

Haven’t played Nintendo since the GameCube so I was a lil weary but so far I’m loving this thing. The portable capabilities are top notch

I’ve always been a Nintendo fan. This console is just as fun as the others. The price is quite steep and the games are expensive, but lots of fun. It’s too bad the digital games and physical games are priced the same. If the digital downloads were even a few dollars cheaper, I would get those instead of the cartridges.

Bought this for my nephew and he loves it! It is a small enough take everywhere and great. screen to play games!

Nice compact game system with lots of features. Easy to start using and easy to hook up to TV for family gaming.

Love this console. I bought it specifically for Super Mario Odyssey, but there are plenty more games I will get too.

I do not regret buying the Switch. I use it more on the go than on the tv right now, but I am happily surprized by how good it looks both in handheld mode and Tv mode! The Tv I use is an older tv and gives "cut off"/screen cropping issues. And I wasnt looking forward to using the switch on a tv that does that. But found a setting that allows for screen adjustments! Super happy! I don't own many games at the moment but will be investing in more in the future! :)

I haven't truly played a game on a gaming console in years. The Nintendo Switch has brought back my competitive side to flip a game and trying to achieve the highest ranking per level. Not only is it great to enjoy on your own, but its capabilities of being on the go and playing multi-player with other people makes me that much more enjoyable.

The idea that I can take my home console games anywhere is great. I have not bought any games, though, because they are really expensive.

I bought this for my son for Christmas. He has been wanting this for a long time and I can't wait to give it to him on Christmas morning.

I bought this for zelda and mario. I don't have much time to play but it is easy to pick up then put down whenever I have an hour of time.

This system is one of the best out there. It has the power of an at home system but it is portable which is amazing !! Great for all ages

This is the third Nintendo Switch in the family. Simply the best pure fun game console out there.

Bought this for my 5 year old and apparently 30 year old husband . it’s such a good game and we love it.

I was thinking this would be just a gimmicky device I would only use on my train rides to and from work. Now, I can't put the thing down!!

Kids love it. I love it. Really nice that it is so portable, but still can play on the big screen if you want to.

Leaving this review on behalf of my son, a die hard fan of Nintendo. He loves this system and is so glad he was able to get one, as am I. Thank you to Best Buy for having a good amount in stock the night of release! My son can't wait for new games to be released. He likes how the system is portable, and it's got a good battery life as well. Definitely recommend.
