If you have any interest at all in a Switch, just go ahead and get one now (well, when you can, as it seems like they're never in stock.) The Switch blends handheld and traditional console gaming in a way never before seen. While games may be a bit sparse in the early months, Zelda alone is worth the system purchase, and with Nintendo's stable of 1st party games, you'll end up getting your money's worth and more.

Best family console out there, also great to take in the go. Our house has three of these currently and we use all of them.

This console is fantastic. Being able to Play anywhere is huge, especially considering the amazing AAA games now available for it.

This is my first console in about a decade. I was shocked initially with how easy it was to setup and begin playing. There are a wide array of games to choose from for the Switch, with more slated to come in 2019. What i love most is the versatility this console offers. In addition to being a great stationary at home console, this is great for travel and social gaming with friends.

Got this new console system to replace older Wii and 3DS systems. The Switch was very easy to setup and the graphics are markedly better than the older systems, as would be expected. The system can operate as a traditional console with wireless remotes, as a Wii type system with movement or as a 3DS like handheld system. A really nice feature for parents is the phone monitoring app which allows parents visibility into games being played, hours spent on the system and even allows parents to set time limits. There were a couple sticking points I had with the unit but they weren't deal breakers. 1. Like with most game systems on the market, Nintendo nickels and dimes you for everything. The system includes two controllers and the base console but doesn't offer anything more than that. We needed to purchase two additional controllers, a charging kit for the controllers and a separate carrying case. Total cost in was almost double the cost of the base system 2. The charging mechanisms for the system seem limited. For example, although the system can operate as a 3DS type handheld, it does not come with a way to charge it as a standalone unit. I'm now looking at investing in yet another accessory, the Nintendo power pack In spite of the above, it appears as though Nintendo put some good thought behind the system itself and is looking to make this a platform they can continue to build from moving forward. More importantly, my kids love it.

Excellent gaming system for kids and adults. It's great that is portable and you can plug it into the base so you can see it on the big tv.

Bought this for my kids for Christmas. We all enjoy playing together.

This this is a life saver for this quarantine period. My kid loves Mario Kart and Mario Bros. Games are great and really kid friendly.

Got this for my nephew and he really enjoys playing Mario titles. This system is also portable which is a plus for road trips.

I bought this for my wife and she loved its. I got sure enjoy our game nights. We get pretty competitive over Mario kart.

Nintendo is back! After the failure of the Wii U, Nintendo has developed a console that has surpassed their original expectations. Great fun games and more to come.

A small but great system for kids. We love that it can be set up to a TV for family to play together or stays compact to travel with!

I love my Switch. There is a nice collection of games with more coming soon. Their web service is going to get better by adding more content. This is worth the $299
