Fun to play Nintendo with the kids

Work hard play hard is an understatement in our lives and when we’re not making custom metal signs this console has allowed us to play together with our kids in a whole new way. We’re not a video gaming family but since we got this Nintendo Switch with Mario Kart it has been a great incentive for the kids to do chores in order to earn screen time. We have had a blast playing 4 players at a time and of course the kids never want to put it down. We also have Super Smash and Minecraft but would rather play together at the same time so Mario Kart is the most played game by far. Really happy with our purchase.

Great little console

Lots more to come! The only downside I notice really is the battery life of the console in portable mode isn’t that great, but that’s to be expected.

The pro controller is preferred for adults as the joycons are a bit small. The side scrolling Mario game reminds me of NES. It seems like a port to the Wii. Mario Cart is fun and easy to play for young kids!

Only worth buying for new Nintendo games

Weak wireless WiFi connection after trying multiple locations and networks. Battery life has been minimal since day 1. The left joycon started malfunctioning after only a couple months of careful use. Had to buy an SD card to be able to download more than 1 big videogame at a time.
