I secretly hoped that they would fold and sell all of their IP to Microsoft so that I could play their characters on the systems that I already have. I was wrong. The switch is my current favorite system. The characters are timeless and the replayability is unparalleled.

I now spend more time with my son playing his games and be able to understand the fun and enjoyment better while playing instead of just sitting blankly and watching!

A new experience

I rarely sit down to play games when I'm at home, so I found myself more willing to play those I can take with me. Having the portability of the switch to play full scale home console games on the go is incredible! The limitation of mobile gaming having deep and enjoyable story driven titles with decent graphics to boot is gone through this system. Thus far I've only played Breath of the Wild (would recommend for fans new and old alike), but having the full game where ever I'm going has been a pure joy. The only thing to note, you should get a spring protector pronto. When you slide the switch into the dock for the TV, it may get scratched on the outer edges of the screen. It's not terrible, and not on the picture itself in my case, but it's an investment I made this past week and it was something I wish I'd done in the beginning.
