Okay so I had some misgivings at first. There is not a lot of games still for the switch, and for whatever reason, Nintendo has not gone PS’s route and found a way to open up the market and make Wii/GameCube/64 games available to play and download on the switch. That said, the switch is actually extremely clever. It’s portable, and has several different ways of allowing you to play, which makes it convenient but also a relief to cramping fingers. It’s very easy to pick up and play, and something kids can easily take into another room if ever needed. Personally, I think it might be the most clever design on the market right now, but I can’t speak to the breakdown of graphics and all. It also doesn’t take up a lot of space, and it can easily be stored in a small space with its games, another win.

This is a great game system. It is awesome on my TV, but it is also great as a portable device. I love the flexibility. The price is also cheaper then other ganw systems.

So far, I only own LoZ:BotW for the Switch, but I've played both 1-2 Switch and Snipperclips with friends, which are both pretty fun and simple party games. I'm excited to get Mario Kart 8 on 4/28, as well as keeping up with all of the official announcements/release dates for upcoming games. I'm hoping that Nintendo releases several more RPG and multiplayer party games in the near future. Would definitely recommend getting a case ASAP after purchasing the Switch. I got a complete kit with thumb pads and joy-con guards, which some friends have said are uncomfortable and annoying, but I've had no issues with them thus far. If you constantly play the Switch docked, I could see them becoming a hassle since you have to remove them to use the included controller. All in all, I'm loving my purchase, and can't wait to see what comes next.

I bought this for myself after months of wanting it and hearing how great it was. I don't regret the money I spent for a single second. I love that there is so much included in the package: HDMI, docking station, joycon controller, and wrist straps. It really is great for so many different types of gaming: multiplayer with two separate controllers, one player with the joycon, and one player with the switch. It has amazing graphics and I love that you can easily convert to playing it on the TV. The controller is a blend of classic nintendo and more modern gaming platforms and is super easy to learn. I am by no means a gamer but I would recommend this to absolutely anyone, from children to teens to adults that just miss the nostalgia of playing nintendo!

It's a solid choice for gaming on the go and you finally get to finish those mario games you could not finish, but controllers, SD cards and games can be expensive.

My kids and I love it! We like how compact, and versatile the game console is. Whether you want to connect it to your home tv or just play it on the go! We also like that you can link with other gamers and have more than 2 controllers!
