This is likely the last Nintendo console that the late president Iwata had a strong influence on, and it seems to be the arrow they are choosing to put all their weight behind. A fascinating design that takes the best in portable DNA (sleep mode, fast saves) and injects it into the console market — it could be just what the tired form factor needed. Already I appreciate the flexibility of being able to switch between TV mode and portable mode. The transition is not as seamless as I imagined, as it takes care and attention to swap out the Joy-Cons. At launch there is almost no games library to speak of, but Breath of the Wild (which has a legitimate shot at Game of the Decade) singlehandedly justifies the first wave of adoption. And Snipperclips is pure crowd-pleasing fun.

Bought this for my daughters birthday and she loves it. She uses it for YouTube or game I am playing with her friends. And some of the games offer are some of the games I used to play Nintendo throwbacks. Wrong a decent gaming set and we also love that you can hook it up to the TV also..

Portability + great graphics = no regrets for buying. I bought this on an impulse buy. Why and who just buys on an impulse? I guess Me. My husband wanted it for Smash Brothers and I wanted it for Legend of Zelda. I also wanted it because of Zelda of the past. You can download Nintendo original games and now SNES games. Let me tell you I was excited to play LoZ: Link to the past. It is so cool to play it in hand and decide....Na, I need it on a 65" screen and just go plug it in. Do I regret dropping $300? Eh. I think if you want to relive your childhood and want something that will entertain you when nothing is on TV, the Switch is kind of nice to have around.

Since mid March I scoured the Internet looking for a Nintendo switch to purchase. But every store was sold out or over priced. It took over 4 months to finally find Best Buy in stock with game. It has been a frustrating venture but now it’s come to a happy end. Thanks to Best!

I feel as if I really shouldn't be reviewing the Switch this early. Its unfair to a point considering it really only has Zelda(which is also on the Wii U) but the fact that you can take this full fledged zelda game on the go is amazing. I know Nintendo has things lined up, from their own first party titles to hopefully plenty of third party support. But that was the hope for the Wii U as well. But with that said the Switch being a real portable vs the Wii U only being able to work a few feet away from the dock is a huge difference that makes the Switch something far more impactful for my life. I hope Nintendo does delivery more titles(To be honest the Wii U does have a solid line up of nintendo games on it, it just lacked third party support and correct advertising IMO) as well as opening up and expanding on the tablet aspect of the switch. I look forward to the switch becoming a bit more of an all in one device that can truly play home console games. We still dont know much about the online aspect but I hope nintendo makes it worth while for us fans. As well as giving us more than just ports(MK8) or what seems to be a pretty rushed sequel(ST2) and that the Switch is here to stay for years to come. Again this is a hard product to review but I give it a 4/5 because I feel the future of this system could be game changing if done correctly but I have my fears as Nintendo hasnt had the best track record for me personally as of late. With that being said I do believe most folks should wait until a few more titles are out for the system, I believe if Mario does come out on time this holiday season, that would be a perfect time to pick one up. If it does get delayed and we are left with mostly indies/ports/remakes I will have to still tell friends to wait and hope for the best.

I pre-ordered the Switch the day it was officially announced. I never purchased the previous Nintendo home console and wanted to play Zelda of course. Have I been happy with this purchase since. After 3 weeks of owning Nintendo Switch, I can say this is my go to console. Battery life is as advertised, I am sure once games have been created fully for the Switch, they will become more power efficient. Joycons are shockingly comfy to hold individually while playing games or in the JoyCon grip. If you playing mainly at home and forgot to dock the JoyCon purchase the charging grip otherwise the about 20 hour battery life on the JoyCons have not died on my while doing a day marathon of playing. I did take the Switch on Vacation and played it on the airplane no issues.

The console looks great, runs smooth, and the Joy-Con controllers are a little revolutionary with their flexibility, but they also feel flimsy. That's my only concern. Also, all we need is a smash bros game for this system.

This is a great game especially for younger kids and the switch sports is a loaded family of fun without ever leaving the house! Excellent!

Absolutely love this thing. I'm a big console gamer. I have an xbox one x and an LG b9 tv, and since I've gotten the switch I barley use anything else. The nintendo titles are great.

Overall, the Switch is a really great console for the kids to play on. They love being able to hook it up to the television and play together, while having a great selection of games available for them.

Son received Nintendo switch for Christmas. Loves it....

This was a birthday gift for my kid, we are having lot of fun with this console. It is a rev2 so you wont be able to hack it unless you want to touch the hardware. There a is a big game collections, but of course, we were most interested on all Mario exclusive games.
