I've never hooked on to the mobile gaming movement, mainly because I enjoy console gaming and I like having a "central hub" for all my games. (Profile, trophies, etc) And over the years we've all seen mobile gaming devices fade away due to low popularity, or poor support from their developers. So to finally have a full gaming system that IS the mobile system is just amazing. It makes me wish Sony would follow the path with their next console. Being able to pick the thing up and walk out the door with it is just great. Now my wife is tired of seeing the thing, since I hardly leave the house without it. Going out to dinner? I'll play switch on the way there. Grocery shopping? Oh you can do it, I'll wait in the car and play switch. Easily best thing ever.

Got this as a present for my kid, and he loves it!!! We had a difficult time weening him from his brother rated M games, but with the flexibility of the system he is having a great time figuring out all the little pluses. Also they are no longer fighting over screen time.

After having played my Switch for the last month, this is truly the direction all systems should take in the future. The UI is fast, snappy and responsive. From waking the system, it takes only seconds to be back into your game. Docking the system or playing portable are both seamless, whole experiences. As a console, the system looks and operates great, and as a handheld, it truly feels like a premium portable system. The thought of all of Nintendo's games appearing on this system is also very excited, as there should be A LOT of games coming out for years from Nintendo. It's an exciting time to be a Nintendo gamer, and the future of the Switch is bright indeed. I can't wait to see all the new games Nintendo will release for my family and I to enjoy.
