So I'll be one of the first to admit that they system is lacking in a few key games. However, having Zelda at launch was a big plus and the SF2 remake is a lot of fun to have portable so you and your friends can enjoy on the go. I wish the battery lasted just a little longer but in reality it is a great home console so it doesn't necessarily 'have' to be portable. I'm really looking forward to the new Metroid Prime, Mario and Xenoblade 2 as well as their virtual console program that should be launching soon.

I was very happy with the item I bought for my son, for Christmas this year. I opened everything was inside with the exemption there is not much information as instructions. When I saw the handle controller battery lo I didn’t know how to charge them up. Figure it out after looking online there is a type C charge that you must buy separately. Other than that I like it. It keep him busy and he can bring the mini tablet with him when we go outside the house.

As a college student, many of my friends have a Switch. I thought Nintendo had mostly lost its touch for older audiences apart from party games. I couldn't be more wrong. The new Nintendo games are still amazing, Nintendo opening up to 3rd parties like Sony and Microsoft do has worked well and the switch itself is amazing. Satisfying to play, hold, or put in my TV. I love the "play how I want" idea. I have console power wherever, it's all I could want as a gamer.

I bought this system mainly to play Mario Odyssey and Zelda ( both great games). However, our switch is the entertainment hit whenever we have people over for parties. Games like 1-2 switch and Just Dance are very fun!

You Can take this anywhere on the go and play with worked remotes with friends or settle in at Home and play with friends or family /online. Really great buy if your into Nintendo games

Nintendo is known for trying new things. Some are a hit, some are a miss. I feel like the Switch could be a hit. It's great having console-quality games that I can easily take with me on the go. The screen is perfectly fine, and the resolution is just fine for this screen size. The battery life I also think is just fine. Playing Legend of Zelda I can get 4 hours of playtime, which is about all you're going to get playing a graphics-intensive game on a mobile phone, or any other mobile gaming device (the market Nintendo is trying to aim for). Expecting significantly more than that I think is expecting too much. I do find the kickstand to be flimsy and poorly placed, making the Switch feel precariously perched when propped up on it. I've also had issues with my left joycon having a weak connection when only sitting about 10 feet from the console when docked. It's a very frustrating experience and in my opinion the biggest issue with the console so far. It does get pretty warm in the dock after a few hours of Zelda, but when playing handheld, it does not get nearly as warm,

I wasn't going to get it then had a spontaneous moment and bought it wish I had gotten it before I play it now more than my playstation they are a little pricey but definitely worth it

Best thing ever. Have not played a more enjoyable system. The controller the games and the hand held switchable modes is incredible.

Our whole family is loving game nights together while we are relegated to our homes during the pandemic. Great way to release tension and get closer during close quarter nights.

Loving this console, great game selection and nice selection of apps (are they called channels? apps?). Hulu, YouTube, it has just about all you need. One complaint is the lack of bluetooth headphone capabilities, but if you want to play Pokemon, Animal Crossing, etc., this is a no-brainer. Note: My JoyCon stopped working (The right one's joystick would trail) about 8 months after purchase, but Nintendo fixed it for me free of cost.

Skyrim is what made me want to buy a switch again! Ordered it along with the game and I am loving how some ports run! I love the main top games but this system is great when ports run great!

Love this system and the fact that i can be starting a game out on the TV and then undock the system and take my game on the road. Having a baby makes this really convenient to be able to game on the go! I didn't experience some of the screen bleeding issues others have suggested and so far have not had any issues with the hardware itself. The only thing is the joy cons if using them for 2 player games like Mario Kart are a bit small so I'd recommend just getting another set of joy cons to use.

I love the switch. I picked it up day one and have been dabbling with all of the various games ever since. Nintendo is still the master of high quality games and this is the perfect console to play them on with its flexibility to be a contending home console or a high end portable console when you need it. The joy cons are pretty cool technology too with all they are capable of, but for long periods of gameplay, I'd recommend snatching up a pro controller as well. Now for a cautionary tale. BE WARY OF THIRD PARTY DOCKS!! I got a Nyko switch dock that worked fine for me right up to the latest firmware update, and now my original switch is bricked and all of my original save data is gone. Nintendo definitely charges an absurd amount for their first party docks, but $70/$80 is far better than another $300 and losing your progress in all of your games. I still love the switch, and if you are cautious (and if nintendo catches up with the times and learns about cloud saves) you are sure to have a great time with this console.

First I have to say this is somewhat expensive, considering Mario kart game is pretty simple in terms of design and graphics, but still cost as much if not more than more complex games found on ps4. Neverthrless, once you can look past the cost, this is one of the few technology items nowadays, that allows the entire family to interact with each other, which is priceless. Rather than each person looking at their own smartphone, now everyone can have fun on the same screen.
