...for the most part. The system quality is excellent. The ease by which game modes and controllers are swapped out is intuitive and seamless. The system and screen look and feel great. The size of the system is disarming...you won't believe how small the tablet (system) really is! A reaction that immediately fades when you begin playing and you realize it's a perfect form-factor. The dock is a miss. It's clunky, feels a little cheap, and threatens to scratch your switch screen with repeated use. INVEST IN A GLASS SCREEN PROTECTOR. The charging port is USB-C, which is great, but it should have been on the top so it could be charged while in kick-stand mode. The kickstand also feels very cheap. I'm looking forward to Nyko's metal stand alternative. Overall, a solid system with a LOT of potential. Breath of the Wild: STUNNING. If you get a Switch, you MUST MUST MUST get Zelda. Splatoon: Excellent. A great team-based "shooter" with a surprisingly robust single-player mode. Mario Kart 8: Great on the Wii U, even better here.

It's a great system that you can take with you. The only problem is the left joy con, it has a bit of a glitch, but nothing big.

Yes. I got it for myself. No regrets! I play it all the time! I did have a little bit of a remote recognition problem, but it only happened once and not again since, so far.

Highly recommend this guy if you are a nintendo fan! Instantly plug in to your dock for a tv experience, and take it out with ease for a portable handheld. By far the best thing I've had.

I always loved playing Nintendo. I got this system for me and my kids because we played it at the store and got hooked for a lil over a hour. This system is one you can play with the whole family at any family event. Loved this system so much i made my cousin buy her kids one. I will also get another one because it's also hand held. The only thing is connecting the controllers is complicated at times but once you get past that part the fun times begin

Full disclosure: I've been a Nintendo Fanboy all of my life. When the Switch was announced, I knew I wanted one. I was lucky enough to snag one through Best Buy. It is truly my favorite console right now. It provides such a clean and crisp on the go presentation, but still has enough power to be a home console. This is not a jack of all trades, master of none. Nintendo worked hard to make a console that's enjoyable both at home, and on the go, whether you play by yourself or with other people.

If you want to game on the go this is your ticket. I've. Been an xbox gamer since the 1st one and have been a gamer for about 15 years. When I bought it I was unsure if I was actually going to like it I had watched some YouTube reviews and read a few things on it so I thought I would give it a shot and I'm definitely happy I did. Unfortunately you can't play n64 games on it yet but lots of people clam its coming. But the new zelda breath of the wild is amazing

Love what Nintendo did here. Easy to carry, great for kids of all ages. Battery works well. Definitely recommend.

The switch is one of the best designed video game systems. And for the price point I feel like it is better than the newer play stations and Xbox systems you can get. My kids have loved having the ability to take the controllers off for different games. My husband loves that he can play on the TV and then click the remotes back on and play in bed. We’re very pleased with this purchase!

I love my nintendo switch! It has been awesome to see the game library continue to grow throughout this year. Can't wait to see what's in store for next year! Don't waste time reading reviews, go buy one already!

I bought one on release loved it but game library was low so I sold it to get a Rift. Bought it again and am not sorry I did. It's great for my wife and I to game together. I also enjoy playing diablo on my couch or on the go among other titles. I have nothing negative to say about it do your research and if you want a nice fun console with portability this is it. Battery life is great. Pick up a pro controller if you want to get serious with some mario kart ;)

Got this for my son and he has thoroughly enjoyed it. In fact, we have been playing this together and it brings back the joy of video games from my youth...with way better graphics!

One of the best entertainment for my twin boys awesome for the road and easy to play and alot of fun for them.

Admittedly, I was skeptical about a combo handheld and console, but the transition between the two phases is seemless and amazing. The gameplay is fun and intuitive, and the motion controls are a nice added bonus.

Everything that is says and can do is what you expect from this switch. Love the color and how it functions. Would really recommend to others looking for a gaming console.

I am so excited to have a Nintendo system again. My kids are really enjoying it so far, and the setup was unbelievably simple. I am looking forward to adding more games.

I have minor issues with the Switch, but for the most part I really like it... and there are some really awesome titles available for it, which I have been thoroughly enjoying. (I recommend Breath of the Wild the most, but also Mario Odyssey and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe!) My biggest issue isn’t with the system itself, but with accessories... the real moneymaker for the Switch. There is so much not included that is necessary to make the Switch experience truly great, and you’ll spend upwards of $200 or more on all of that... most of which are plastic add-ons. It also could have a better docking system; to connect to a TV you need to haul the dock around, which is far less convenient than if Nintendo sold a simple USB-C multiport adapter to HDMI and AC for travel use. (Third-parties make those, but can they be trusted?) But as for the system itself, all my complaints are very minor. (The Joy-Con straps feel cheap and breakable, for one, and the bezels on the Switch are MASSIVE)

I'm an avid console guy and I love the 3DS. I thought this was GOING TO BE a super "tablet" experience, but it's far from that. It's a nintendo experience just like the wii where everything is kinda just magical.
