I was undecided about making the jump and getting myself a Nintendo Switch but when I got a $150 gift card from work I decided to pick one up, along with Pokemon Let’s Go: Pikachu. Let me say, I’m 100% satisfied with the console. Portable, a nice 4-5 hour charge time while playing, and the Joycons serve as two controllers depending on the game title you’re playing. I recommend it for anyone who has been mulling over whether or not to get one.

This console hits the spot. I rarely have time to sit down and burn through a weekend playing or really get good and stay good at most multiplayer games. Portables are kind of the best console for me since I can put it down and pick up where I left off at any time. Until now thought he graphical capability and offerings have been pretty thin. Maybe someday there will be really good games on tablets but the on-screen touch controls always suck and the games themselves are generally designed for free to play or $1-$5 market and they're just kind of meh. This fits my needs perfectly Nintendo has finally made a go-anywhere console for adults. No more cheap feeling, shiny plastic controllers or slow dated UI. The switch gets all of the UI and performance things the Wii U missed. The flexible control scheme is also awesome. Having the ability to play like a potable but then take the controllers off and sit back solves all the ergonomics issues I had with the PS Vita and 3DS. It also fits perfectly a tablet holder so you can lay in bed and play it with your arms laying comfortably at your sides. Cons: Unfortunately no Netflix yet, no browser or apps yet. That's kind of an inconvenience but I'd still use my phone for browsing anyway since it has all my apps and favorites and such. It would be nice to have Netflix and Hulu on the switch but it would also be redundant since there are a lot of other devices in the house that do Netflix and Hulu and probably do them better than a Console could. I imagine they'll probably release an update that will put Netflix and Hulu apps on the switch soon. Also, not many games yet. I will definitely get Mario Kart 8, even though I've already played it on Wii U. Otherwise I'll be playing Breath of the Wild for some time. Fortunately Breath of the wild probably has enough content to keep me going for at least a couple months (it is MASSIVE)

I bought this for my sister’s birthday and she and her boyfriend love it. I also own one and I suggest getting Switch over the Switch Lite because it gives you the flexibility to play on your TV or take it on the go. The game library is excellent and the price point makes it more accessible than other gaming systems. I would highly recommend this console to people of all ages.

Easy to set up and easy to use. Great entertainment for all age groups. A little pricey though

I absolutely love my Nintendo switch. In my opinion, it’s the best family gaming console. Games like Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros have excellent multiplayer modes that bring families together, or in some case tears them apart. There’s also plenty of games that have great single player modes. The best part though is that you can play both at home on your Tv and while your away in handheld mode. Overall I think it’s an excellent system.

My kids love their Nintendo switch devices!they have been carrying them around everywhere. And when they want to play together they connect it to the tv so many fun games!

Easy to set up and fun to use, it’s a reasonable price for a regular console

Nintendo has done little right since the GameCube in my opinion, until now. I can play all the same games I used to love playing on my cube and sp. Its awesome

Love the Switch. The kids love the switch family and friends love it. If I had one gripe it would be the controller setup in between games requiring different setups. Example Mario Party. But you manage through it. Missed out on the Mario Kart bundle but that’s OK. The addition of the Classic virtual consoles with online subscription is awesome. Need some N64 stuff next.

Bought this console for myself to help pass time in quarantine, and so glad I did. Impressed with the system over all, ready for a larger game selection

Good system, it works flawlessly. So far, I like it a lot. But the one thing I don't like: it does not come with a web browser. Therefore, you can't use the Switch to go online to get on the internet. I don't understand why there is no web browser (at least the WiiU & 3DS both have a web browser). I hope Nintendo includes a web browser in a future update soon. So overall, the Switch is a good system but has no web browser.

Great gaming machine. Not heavy at all. Good quality. Easy to use n install!!

For the first time there is a console system that brings good quality gaming to a handheld device. The Nintendo Switch does this effectively. It is fun and easy in for an adult to carry around and play during their free time. Cons to think about include marginal battery life (consider an external USB-C battery pack), finicky Joy-Con connections to the straps, and current lack of quality games. I own Zelda and MarioKart and am waiting for other worthwhile games to purchase.
