My son loves this gift. He loves that he can take the console with him. He has fun playing at home with his younger brothers and no one fights over taking turns.

All you need to know is that you can take the games you play at home anywhere with you. With game of the year candidates like The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey you can’t go wrong.

Excellent system. Very portable. I would recommend spending a little more to get a "classic" controller for it though. Little kids seem to get frustrated by the new controls. The teens caught on very quickly.

I love love love this system! Can play this console in many ways! Always have Overcooked game nights with my friends and it's amazing putting it up on a 70" TV!

We finally bought one for our daughter who has been raving about it since she's been playing with her friend's Nintendo Switch. She loves the games and how user friendly the controls are. Now she has her own!

First things all, the Nintendo Switch is a home console capable of being taken outside with you wherever you go, at any time of the day. This makes it extremely unique from all the other entries in the video game industry. While it may not be as "powerful" as its competitors, I'm very, very amazed to see that this tiny device is capable of pushing out the graphics at high resolutions. Breath of the Wild looks amazing on it! The system's controllers, known to all as the Joy-Con, are two halves that make up a whole, or can be used separately in certain games if you so like. There is a Pro Controller option for those who wish to game for extended periods of time and need a little more comfort hitting those buttons. The Joy-Con is very small- its buttons are very much in line with those on the New 3DS systems. There is also a Joy-Con grip accessory to help those with holding onto the Joy-Cons and using all of their buttons efficiently. Last but not least, using the system by itself and on the TV screen is as simple as night and day! Simply place the console into the included dock and BAM! The Switch will start displaying images on the TV after a very short delay. Simply remove the Switch from the dock to swap to portable/tabletop mode. The console charges on the dock or using the AC adapter directly attached via the USB-C connector. The Joy-Con can be charged by leaving them attached to the Switch while it is charging. This system is easy to use and very user friendly. The game came just as I had anticipated. This is completely worth the purchase for the exclusive games that it comes with.

I purchased this for my daughter. It was during the pandemic and it provided her with a game she could play on her own or with a friend. She has really enjoyed it.

I have to admit I prefer playstation over Switch but there're many games on the switch that can be enjoyed by a group of people which make this console unique and fun.

Kid friendly, easy to set up, easy to use. So fun that I connects to your TV easily and is also readily portable. My kids love it and I enjoy it with them too.

Such an amazing system. Has allowed me to get back into gaming as I play next to my wife on the couch.

Overall its a fun system. I don't think you get a lot though for the price. You will need to buy and SD card to expand the storage. Not many features built into the operating system, I'm sure they will add some over time but right now all it does is plays games, no apps. I honestly think you are better off buying an xbox or ps4 considering they are the same price as this. However, if you are a Nintendo fan, this is a must buy for you.

It’s a great system if you are looking for family fun games! If you want performance obviously go with the higher end consoles. But switch did an amazing job with handheld to tv!

Longer battery life, an insane library of high quality titles, what else is there to say really? If you are a gamer and don't have a switch you are missing out!

Love it especially when I have family over and they want to watch TV and I want to fight mythical creatures. This way we both win lol. Great graphics and sound from the handheld.

When the Switch was first announced I was hesitant based on the Wii U. However my curiosity got the best of me, and I have to say this has been getting more play time than my PS4 mainly due to the portability.
