My wife already has a Switch but she is always using it so I bought one for me. A lot of times I buy the consoles and they don't get used much. The Switch has gotten more use in a month than my XBox One X that I got on launch day. The versatility of being able to play in portable mode or playing on my TV has it made it really easy to find time to play it. Not the best graphics or the best controller, but it still comes out ahead for me.

This is the only gaming device I have right now. Great quality and easy to carry around. Definitely worth it.

The Nintendo Switch is an amazing console. Having the ability to play on the go and dock it when at home to play on the TV is an amazing convenient feature. It does not have the graphic power compared to an XBOX ONE or a PS4, but it doesn't need to. I'd say it is more compared to a PS3 or XBOX 360. If you think about it having a portable PS3/360 is an awesome thing. Nintendo always makes high quality games for all their consoles and the Switch of course has Zelda Breath of the Wild as a launch title. As of now it is lacking on games but hopefully by E3 2017 Nintendo will unveil more future support form 3rd parties and of course 1st party. I love playing games and own a lot consoles from the past 25-30 years. I'm 33 years old and not having as much time to play video games as I did growing up, makes the Nintendo Switch one of the greatest consoles I've ever owned. It fits my busy life at just the right times I can play on my lunch breaks at work, on a drive if my wife is behind the wheel, at the in laws house, toilet ha! etc. I have a feeling SONY and maybe Microsoft will copy in making their own hybrid systems in the future. If you have time to play video games all the time at home on your TV then you have a problem unless your making money off it. As for me being able to play anywhere is a must.

We recently purchased the Switch because my wife was sick of there not being much variety of two player games. This system offers it all. We only have two games so far, but from what we have experienced its pretty perfect for the casual gamer! It is portable, but can be put on the big screen at home, and we can invite our friends to join as well!!

I’ve actually had it since it first launched and had to get one for my wife since she took it all the time.

Family friendly , all the Mario games and very easy to use and get used to even for small children

Having so much fun with this system. I wish I would have gotten it sooner. Loads of fun and I can’t wait until Christmas to get more games.

This is a great way to spend an evening with the family. Lots of old school games along with new games.

I bought this console for Xmas so it has not been opened yet. I heard great things and I can’t wait for my kids to open up on Xmas morning!

Oh man are you going to love this console!! Nintendo had always made more more kid and family friendly products which in my opinion has hindered its sales compared to the mighty Playstation and that Microsoft product but it seems like it has finally made a console that can rival the 2 powerhouses. This is of course family friendly but it will appeal to the older players too. Its graphics are great and the controls are great and feel good in your hands. But it's new feature is the best. Its portable!! Now I know portable games have been around but this keeps all the power of a full size console with in the same product, not to mention the best this that you dont have to buy another game to make it portable and you dont lose your process or have to start over. Cheers Nintendo on a great product!! Go and get your today and play it's awesome game. Mario Odessy, Mario Kart and of course Zelda will keep you amazed and young at heart. Enjoy!

I bought this for my son and it is perfect for him. Not too complicated and the ease of access is great.

What's so say? It's a nintendo! Awesome games and awesome flexibility of handheld AND console. Buy One!

This system is one of Nintendo's best. The controllers have yet to run out of battery power...they last a VERY long time between recharges.

I love this console! It is my main video game console now. It is so nice to have all my games portable to be able to take anywhere with me.

The premise of a home console you can play anywhere is perfectly executed. The Switch DELIVERS. Going from TV to handheld and back is seamless and instant, especially if you have a TV that can "sync states" with devices attached to it. And the battery is big enough for a few hours of Zelda. The screen is very high quality. It is IPS and I found that it doesn't distort colors like some reviews have mentioned (one professional review actually said you should expect poor viewing angles because it's IPS, which just isn't true; IPS are the best LCDs suited for multiple viewing angles). When Netflix comes out or if someone is sitting next to you watching you play or groups playing Snipperclips, etc, everyone will be able to get an excellent view of the screen. No problems with viewing angles. And the color, luminosity and contrast are all superb. 720p is an understandable compromise. If it was 1080p, not only would the screen cost significantly more, but it would need a bigger CPU, GPU, and battery, all which would drive up the price to be exclusive. Nintendo does not want to be an exclusive company. And nothing looks pixelated — though you can see aliasing if you look for it. hough the joy-cons are small and seem like they'd be uncomfortable, I really like them, together or apart.
