Awesome gaming machine. Lots of fun for the whole family and has a longer battery life now.

At first I wasn't sure how to react to Nintendo's latest console. A hybrid? How is that going to work? I stayed up late (I'm on the east coast) to watch Nintendo's unveiling of the system back in January 2017. I was impressed, but I didn't immediately jump on a pre-order after the presentation was over. However the next morning after doing some more reading I decided it was time to jump on it. I quickly found that most online retailers had already pre-sold their alotments! Thankfully I got an order in w/ Best Buy. Once I got the system in hand I was very impressed. Granted I don't play handheld games that much, I love the idea of taking a game like Breath of the Wild with me wherever I go. There have been some minor issues that have come out since launch, but overall I have adored the system. I've played it in both handheld and TV modes, but used table top mode to show off to others. The joycons are small, but functional. Pro Controller is hands down a must buy. Overall I'm very impressed with the system and I can't wait to see what the future holds. If Nintendo can continue to get 3rd party developers to back the Switch, then I'd say the future is very bright for Nintendo.

This console is very flexible to play everywhere, some times without the need of a monitor or tv.

As a occasional game player, I was skeptical on buying the switch due to the fact that sometimes xbox and playstation consoles have sat around the house unplayed. But I have to say I'm very surprised and loving the console. The portability factor along with the really enjoyable Nintendo specific games are amazingly fun. I've tagged in almost 8 hours of video game play (an hour each day since acquisition) and loving it. I like the fact I can play on the go or outside where I need to be, but then at home dock and play to the big screen as well. I have to say I an VERY SATISFIED with my purchase and can't recommend this enough. I feel that this will continue to get more game play time than that of those more higher priced stationary consoles moving forward and may even become my primary device for game play.

It's a different approach then the other consoles and it's on a whole new level and love it's options taking it on the go.

Great system for traveling and simple to use and would recommend to family and friends

The Nintendo switch is a beautifully made video game console, going from my t.v. to a handheld without compromising power.

Great graphics, controllers easy to use, when attached to screen. Might want to pick up remote if your used to the other kind. Also pick up extra storage card. This is excepted, but they could have given more when they made it. It's the only thing I was disappointed about. Besides that it's fine.

Was able to snag one and the family loves it. Gets us together playing something fun.

I bought the Nintendo switch for my husband this Christmas and I know not only he will love it but our family and friends.

It works, it's fun, all sorts of games, love it. Best nintendo console since the wii.

Our son absolutely loves his new system. He especially loves that he can play it on the big screen or take it on the road.

This was purchased as a gift and luckily I managed to secure one before Christmas. It was received well by the recipient and it goes everywhere that they go. Works great and provides hours of enjoyment. Safe to say this is a perfect gift for people of all ages.

Works as I expected. Like how easy it is to hook up to any television and can play games anywhere.

I was lucky and got one of the less Switches that came in by the end of May. I tried to talk my buddy out of it as he was crazy about being a day one adopter. I changed my mind as I started looking at it as a new "Gameboy" and not a home console. You can't compare it to my PS4 Pro hooked up to a Sony Bravia 4K HDR or even the Xbone. I haven't hooked it up to the TV yet and probably never will. I love sitting at the pool playing on my new Nintendo. Zelda, Mario Kart, Fast RMX, Disgaea 5, NBA Playgrounds and Lego City are running and looking great as long as you keep in mind it's the next generation Gameboy. If you want a powerful home console get the PS4 Pro and in a few months the Scorpio. If you are looking for the best handheld, you need a Switch. I haven't touched my other consoles since I got it just because it is so convenient to be able to play wherever you want. Even if it's only for a few minutes. It's always great fun. Also the upcoming online features in 2018 for less than 20$ a year are totally worth it. Many great games are coming soon so you won't run out of games in a long time. If you love videos games and talking them with you... Get a Switch.

I enjoy getting away from reality for a bit and the Nintendo Switch has helped to keep me level.
