The out of the box joycons aren't great for extended handheld play but there are great 3rd party joycons available that are actually cheaper AND better than the OEM joycons.

Fun console for gaming while you travel.

Nintendo online gives you access to NES and SNES games. Cond- The best games on this console were all previously released on the Wii U, Online retro game library is small compared to other Nintendo consoles. You also can't access online games you own for other consoles.

The Switch is so much fun

This is really fun to play. I haven't taken it outside yet. I mainly use it for playing Trivial Pursuit Live. I bought it as a Christmas gift for my husband who has been dying for this console forever. Now he has it :)

Great Console-Handheld Hybrid

Controllers are a bit small at first but you get used to them. Hopefully this console will get a lot more games down the line, but for now Zelda is amazing.
