We sometimes dock it, but find ourselves playing in the go or on the couch, too. We use multiplayer games, but also use both switches to team post games like Stardew Valley. Great product!

It's as portable as a tablet but also works perfectly with a TV. Great selection of very unique games as well as games available on other platforms. Took 1 star off for a weak online system and lack of true local co-op games that used to be available on Wii/Wii U. That's said still a very fun console to own and more portable than a PS4 or XBox One, also this is the only platform to play the very innovative Mario Odyssey and tand addictive Ring Fit Adventure.

My daughter loves connecting to a tv, using the stand to vs without a tv or handheld for single use. Several of the mario games we bought are the same games for the wii and had to purchase again.
