I’ve been searching the heavens for the switch and was finally able to get one from here. I’ve been having so much fun with my kids, catching up on old nostalgic favorites from past consoles and arcades, and challenging friends online. This is a great hybrid console for everyone!!!

Nintendo did a good job designing this console. It’s fun to use in portable mode with little compromise on gameplay. I primarily play docked as I like my games on the big screen personally, but it’s super convenient to just be able to grab the console and go without having to quit my game. I love this feature. The joycons are fairly well built, with a soft touch comfortable plastic. I don’t find my hands cramp up with them, and they include a little adapter to turn them into a game pad which I find to be sufficiently comfortable until I get my hands on a Pro controller. Now onto a few cons: - Some games get frame rate drops when you play in docked mode. It doesn’t bother me too much but can be a little jarring. - The matte black paint finish on the back of my unit has imperfections on the edges. It looks like small patches of smudges or shiny plastic that they missed when putting the matte paint on it. Doesn’t really bother me but figured I’d mention it. - The plastic back of my unit has a small bulge near the volume buttons. I’ve noticed it in the same place on a second unit so I can only guess it’s present on others. Definitely a slight build quality/cosmetic issue, but it won’t affect performance. - Plastic screen. Cmon Nintendo, this is a portable console with no way to fold it. It was passable with the 3DS but not with the Switch. If you’re gonna carry it around with you it WILL scratch eventually. Do yourself a favor and get a tempered glass screen protector for it. - Not a whole lot of multiplayer titles yet. If you’re looking to play with friends, you’re limited for now. Mario Tennis Aces just released and it’s pretty fun with friends.

I got my GF this for Christmas and she has been playing it everyday. There are a bunch of family friendly games that she can spend time playing when she goes home. The switch is a great product I would recommend this console to people who are not hardcore gamers but love to play group/party games.

This product is worth the money. It is a money wrll spent on a product that brought joy to my 6 year old nephew. The two detachable controllers are highly valued.I recommend this product.

Great new console. It's easy to play and the kids love it.

This is so far an awesome console from Nintendo. There are not a lot of great games out yet for it but The Legend of Zelda is great to go with it. The controllers are small but you can get a Pro controller that is normal size.

While it still has some evolving to do (the addition of streaming services, fleshing out the online infrastructure, etc) the Switch has quickly become one of my favorite systems. It's not the most powerful system ever, but as a handheld it's superb, and that's the main mode I use it in, although I've found myself using the two player table top mode more then I ever thought I would. Being able to play a game like Zelda BOTW anywhere is superb, and being able to dock it when I am at home and don't have something else on in the background is great. There are some other games on the horizon I am very much anticipating, and even though the selection is pretty sparse now, it's lineup will keep me quite busy this year, (although I do have a PS4 that will get lot of use as well).
