Ninendo finally has great 3rd party support and is compatible with cross platform play with certain games. It feels great and they took the next step from their previous console, the WiiU and made it what it’s truely meant to be, a hybrid console without the tablet being able to be plugged in at all times. Nintendo launched their online membership which is only $20 a year. Great additions to the console that would make the experience better would be the Pro Controllers (which can sync whether it’s docked or not), a screen protector, and a carrying case for on-the-go play times. As for games, The Legend of Zelda for action adventure, Mario Party and Mario Kart for multiple people to play at a time, and Mario Rabbids Kingdom for co-op, Rocket League and Fortnite for cross platform play, and Doom, Skyrim, NBA 2K Playgrounds, Celest, and Ittle Dew 2 for 3rd party games. The console feels great and has a very nice display. The joycons have the HD rumble feature with is more powerful than previous controllers. Another thing to note is the sound quality when you’re just using the tablet. It’s decently loud as far as any tablets go as well as crisp and clear. The only cons I’d say is that is doesn’t have built in Bluetooth for a headset (so a headset need to be plugged into the tablet itself) nor does it have an Ethernet port for a hard connection to the internet which there IS an adapter for. It’s also not just something for kids and teenagers but makes a great home console as well for everyone of all aged. They cater to all gamers from the “E for everyone,” to the “M for Mature.”

Great game system that is versatile with a growing selection of games. I love being able to play on my tv at home but also bring my system to work.

I just got my switch today, and have been playing for about an hour and I can honestly say this is the best console purchased I’ve gotten this year. I feel utterly satisfied. Although I’m still getting the hang of things, I’m really enjoying myself.

Gives you that old school feeling of the original Nintendo with a modern touch. Kids love it and its mobility makes it even better.

I was on the fence with getting the Nintendo switch . i wasnt sure if it was worth it but after purchasing it and playing around with it i can say its well worth the money. joy cons are easy to pair and use. docking and undocking is pretty seamless switching between tv and handheld mode. games install pretty fast . using it handheld for can get you about 5 hours of battery life depending on the game and screen brightness and volume settings. well worth buying fun for the family or for single player games.

This system is great for one or player or for many. The grab and go function is cool but playing on the big screen with others is a blast!

Enjoy playing the old NES games on this, and trying out some of the new games. Easy to carry around in my bag and feels comfortable gaming.

I absolutely love this Nintendo system! I have been playing Legend of Zelda - Breath of the Wild every chance I get and am blown away! I have not used the handheld mode too much and when I have it has been pretty good. It's a little wide to hold as a portable console and the game is a little tough to play on that size of a screen... but I think that is because I have been playing it with a pro controller and on a 55" tv so I'm perhaps a bit spoiled. Overall it is a great system. Now I am just waiting to see what Nintendo does with it (need the new releases to start flowing!)

I bought my wife a Switch on launch day 2017. I was a little hesitant to get one myself given the availability of games on prior Nintendo consoles. As more versatile titles became available for the Switch (ex. DOOM) as well as seeing my wife enjoy her Switch I decided to join the fun - a decision I am very happy with to this day. The Switch allows for gaming in home or on the go. I no longer have to take the TV for console gameplay and have near-console processing power held in my hands to enjoy recreational gaming. Highly recommend this item.

As innovative and fun as the original Wii, the Switch is versatile, fun, and a great (and different) console. Just be prepared to shell out for accessories.
