It’s a slick piece of hardware you can play on the tv or handheld with seamless transition. Nintendo makes some of the best games so you have to get this for the latest Mario and Zelda titles. I also bought some of my favorite last-gen shooter ports like Bioshock and Borderlands, as well as the latest Mortal Kombat and Fortnite from the e-shop. I did buy the pro controller and an expansion memory card (which I think are must haves). Get it and enjoy!

while it was hard to actually purchase the switch due to it being out of stock everywhere, now that i have it i love it. super easy and fun to use, my five year old sister has tons of fun with it and can use it easily

the 4 star is only because if lack of release games though there are a few you can download older type games for a low cost. New games to show the capability of the system would be nice . Also for the lack of availability we had to travel to get the system and pay tax even though we live in a tax free state we shouldn't have had to but they weren't stocked anywhere else. The switch has been a great system. It has the ability to be played on a tv which is very good quality for the picture and be portable. We only have 2 games as they dont have many yet, but looking forward to other games in the future. Batteries have a good life span. You can buy extra controllers and battery packs as well. Though the price is high for the system with no games included you do get it ready for multiplayer where other systems are not ready for 2 players out of the box. So it trades off in a way. I do highly recommend getting a screen protector when you get the system it is a very tight fit in the dock you dont want to scratch our screen it is touch screen as well. Also, a case we got a fully travel case for the whole case as we travel often and it would be nice to use it on travel as well as portable. There are cases for just the system and leave the dock home. Most come with game holders too.

After trying to get the Switch for months I finally found one from Best Buy. Let's just say the wait was worth it. It is everything that it is advertised to be and great to take for long car rides to past the time!

Will be exactly what my little guy won’t expect for Christmas. I’m so excited play these games with him. I love a lot of these games as they are more oriented to smaller kids, as other systems are not. I think this will be a great addition to his play time.

As of this review being over 4 weeks since it was released, if you actively follow and enjoy Nintendo's products and you want a quick an easy way to play both on the go or at home, the Switch does just that exceedingly well. I have been able to take this with me on my travels and the battery would last me almost all the way to my destination (the trip being around 4-5 hours in total). Of course this varies based on what game you play but I purchased myself a portable battery to go along and this only adds more to the great experience I have had. Not to mention the titles that are currently out for the system, I have yet to put the console down. In terms of other software, that is where the Switch is lacking. There is no internet browser, no applications such as Youtube and Netflix, and in terms of games, no Virtual console. These are, while not to some people, rather important things to have for the general market and Nintendo has already put out a statement that these features will be added later so take that as you will. Overall, a great console recovery from the commercial failure that was the WiiU. Great library so far and soon to come. I personally haven't had any issues with my console like others have, but neither should any of the new shipments coming in soon.

I bought this console for my 3 and 5 year old, and ended up getting hooked myself lol. So much fun for the family, but then also perfect for adults. Zelda Breath if the Wild has taken over in our household, as well as Mario kart.

I love my most recent purchase of a switch! A lot of nostalagia with smash and mario cart!

The Nintendo switch is used by My son quite a lot he really loves it because he can play with it on tv and in his room it’s a very comfortable device it may seem hard to use at first but at some time you will get use to it and there is also a whole lot of other controller options is you where an Xbox or ps4 player if you where a Nintendo player than you would have it easy with the Nintendo controller if you where the other consoles that the second controller would be enough to use it is a very good gaming area it is but it has its cons that console has a little amount it has a small amount is memory you can only download one big game but there is also the memory storage chip but on the other hand this is good

We are thoroughly enjoying our Nintendo Switch with extra controllers and cooperative and group play games. We appreciate the ease in taking it along and setting up wherever we are. The system is super easy and super fun.

Great product especially since it can convert to a portable device for road trips. Requires some adult assistance to set up. There are free games that can be downloaded for play along with games that can be purchased.

This best purchase I ever had. I gave a gift to a cousin and she love’s it.

Bought this for my aunt since she wanted to try out Animal Crossing. The only other game she had ever really played was Tetris but she finds the system and Animal Crossing very enjoyable and accessible.

This is the first Nintendo console I have bought since the N64 and let me tell you it is worth it. The functionality of it is the selling point for me. I can take it anywhere to play. I am not a Nintendo fan boy but this console is nothing short of awesome.

This is a great idea for a system. My son loves it and secretly I do to. Lol.. It is great that it can go portable so effortlessly! The games are great. The only downfall is the money you have to spend on everything from the system to controllers to games.
