It's great for kids and adults, if you like video games, you won't regret it.

It's a great system! Easy to use, even for older adults. The only thing I don't care for is the controllers it came with because they're not user friendly with my arthritic hands. But no biggie, I just bought a wireless controller.

Used my replacement plan to get this one because the other had wear and tear on the controllers after 6 months of use. Even though I bought new extra set of controllers. I realized that I had the replacement plan on this system so I might as well use it. Went to my local store they had the switch in stock, but low quantity. I was able to get an entire new system, and they transferred all my information and games to the new system in the store. It took about 15 minutes, but it is worth the wait. My kids were happy they had their games saved, and anything to needed to be re-downloaded was on your Nintendo eshop account. I bought the replacement plan again for the new one. My kids play with this system more than the other systems we have. I still kept the extra set of controllers I bought (neon pink and green). I did have to buy another screen protector for the display, and don't forget to remove your memory card in the console. Great customer service, and had no problems with using my replacement plan, and easy exchange.

Switch was received in a timely manner. No problems with product or set up.

The Nintendo Switch is an awesome, versatile system. You can play it three ways: Docked (picture on TV), handheld (joy-cons next to the screen), or in tabletop mode (screen on the table with the built-in kick-stand; joy-cons or controllers in your hands). In docked mode, you get 1080P video. In the other two modes, you get 720P (or sometimes 540P, with a small number of games). The joy-cons can be used in numerous orientations. Switch games are sometimes more expensive than other systems when you purchase the game physically (what they call the "Switch tax"), but there are sales on digital games in the eshop practically every week. Highly recommended.

I used to be a big Nintendo fan back in the day. I bought their original systems when they first came out (NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, and GameCube). After the GameCube, Nintendo kind of lost their way so I didn't buy the Wii or Wii U. Their third party support for those systems started to dwindle so they did not have as many third party games as Microsoft's and Sony's systems. Now with the new Nintendo Switch, Nintendo seems to have the third party support that they need in order to make the system a success. I have been enjoying my Nintendo Switch and have been enjoying the new Zelda: Breath of the wild game. Even though the Nintendo Switch is not as powerful as the PS4 or Xbox One, it gives you the versatility to play it both on the go and at home. If you're playing at home and are going on a trip, you can just undock the system and play it in your car, on a plane, at the park, etc. Just having the option to play it anywhere gives the Nintendo Switch a bit of an edge on the other systems. So pick up a Nintendo Switch if you find one in stock. Definitely worth it.

Great Console, I like it very much, my son is very happy with his gift!

I've always been a Playstation guy, but my kids were interested in this portable console. It was a hit with them at Christmas, and we have used it almost every day since. I've had opportunity to use it on the road, and it doesn't disappoint. Some of the games are dependent on internet connectivity, so be aware of that, but the graphics are sharp, the load times are short, and the games are huge.

I couldn't make up my mind whether to get a PS4 or Switch first. I wasn't impressed with my last Nintendo console (Wii), so I was hesitant to buy into the Switch hype. I asked several friends who had both system, and most said the same thing: They like the PS4, but they LOVE the Switch. We all have similar tastes in games, so sold! So far, very few complaints. It took a while to get setup because I thought that having an existing NNID meant I surely must have a Nintendo account as well. Nope. Silly me. I love that it is both a TV console system and a portable handheld. The battery life is not very good, tho. I would estimate at about 2-3 hours. Roughly the same as the 3DS, but that's understandable. If you are to play for long hours, it's best to play on the TV so you don't stress your eyes. Another small complaint is the connectivity of the joy cons. When they are detached from the Switch, I find them to be not as responsive sometimes. Usually re-pairing them does the trick.
