I've had no problem with any switch I've bought for my kids so I had no issue getting this for my 14-year-old.

I already had a switch lite and liked the form factor, weight, etc... I purchased this one because I wanted to have something I could connect to the TV. I don’t particularly care for the feel of the joycons in the included holder. As a handheld device, it’s a bit less comfortable to hold than the lite. I will probably get a pro controller to use with it, but for now, the lite is still my primary Nintendo gaming device. Guess the regular one will take a little getting used to. ...Also, there is a little movement of the joycons when using it in handheld mode. I prefer the stability of the lite as a handheld as well.

I bought this for my granddaughter who started college at the University of Iowa this year . She has already made new friends on her dorm room floor having a game night.

I got the switch to play animal crossing new horizons and I was not disappointed. I have other Nintendo consoles and this one is probably my favorite since the Wii. Very easy to use, fun games, and versatile. I like that I can choose to play either on the Tv or as a hand held. Looking forward to getting new games.

The Nintendo Switch is an incredible piece of hardware with great potential. As promoted, the Switch easily converts from a home console to a portable console and vice versa. While playing Breath of the Wild on portable mode, the console's charge typically lasted about four hours in length. The fact that the system starts off with two joycons (controllers) is great for local co-op games such as Snipperclips and Fast RMX. On a critical side, the online network is currently bare-bones offering only internet connectivity for games, Nintendo news, and the eShop (no internet explorer, Youtube, Netflix, Hulu, etc). However, Nintendo stated they will release their paid online server this fall which should improve the Switch's current online status. Overall, if you're searching for a system for fun at home or on-the-road, the Switch is a fantastic option.

Bought this for my anniversary so we could play together. I loved the switch more than her so I took it and left. Overall, very fun!

I bought the Switch with the sole intent of playing Ring Fit. I love that game, but I’ve also purchased kid friendly games for my niece and nephew that I now play with my friends and family when they come over. It is pretty easy to use, too. Setup was a total breeze! Easiest game console I’ve ever owned.

I get a lot of enjoyment out of my Nintendo Switch console! I like that you can play it as being handheld OR putting it in the docking system and play it through your tv! The system is easy to set up and Nintendo seems good about giving onscreen directions, tips, and steps to follow for its system, games, and online store!

The Nintendo Switch is well worth the purchase. There are a great selection of first party Nintendo titles like Zelda and Mario, as well as support from 3rd party developers bringing great classics or ports. There are also indie developers bringing their games to the Switch and making it a great system for all types of games that you can find on the eShop. Using the joycons is also so much fun because you can use them separately as one controller and have your arms free to move around and relax how you please. Want to play Mario Kart with a friend? Simply give them a joycon and you both are good to go. I recommend buying a Switch because there are many great games coming soon like Smash Ultimate and it will be the ultimate system for old school games to take with you on the go or at home.

I really like this system. It’s very easy to use even for a beginner like me ( I purchased two for my kids, but I do like to play every now and then). The graphics are clear and it’s easy to connect to the tv for family fun. My advice, set up the parental controls as soon as the box is opened! That way you, as the parent, can limit or extend the time for your child.

I love the switch and my son loves it too. The system has great resolution for a small tablet like handheld and has a decent battery life. And if you want to continue you can just plug it in to a USB C type and continue playing. I son loves this thing so much and if you're a parent who wants to limit their time on the switch you can download the nintendo app and limit their time, and they can't bypass it unless you grant access or enter a personal pin. One little thing that bothers me is that there is a small gap on the top left hand side right before the volume rockers. It's a small detail but it's just one of those things that can lead to more structural issues as the device gets used. This is true on many switch units not just mine.

It was a gift for my daughter this past Christmas and she lived it the console was perfect and kool bery easy to use ky daughteris 5 years ild and ahe knows how to use it better than i do lol totally recommend

This hybrid console is a good console since you can connect and play on the tv and you can also take it with you because it is small and not just that but it comes with 2 controllers for 2 players because they have joy cons and joy cons are basically a controller that splits in half for multiplayer games.

Totally regret not getting a Switch sooner. The best console I've purchased including PS4 and Xbox. Love the ability to play handheld and on a TV. Haven't had any issues with scratching on the screen from the dock as others have mentioned. If you plan on using handheld mode most I'd suggest getting a grip.

Extremely great console I love that I can take my console experience on the go.The 32 gigabyte storage space on the switch is fine as of 12/31/2017 with 25 physical game and 3 digital games I still have 20 gigabytes left manly due to the fact that unlike the ps4 and Xbox one physical games don't install to the system. I would definitely recommend getting a switch.

Perfect. It works just as fine as the old Nintendo switch and the only difference being the box. It’s perfect and I would recommend as a gift to anyone.

Love my switch the games a little pricey but it’s compack and it’s fun

First off I would say if you’ve been on the fence about buying this just do it. You won’t regret it! I love this switch. It has been great so far and I haven’t had any major issues. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was the dock is just a very light plastic which was a little disappointing but again not a big issue, then with the joy cons you get these clips that have hand straps on them which these are nice and allow you to push the little side buttons easier yet they are almost impossible to get off even when you put them on the right sides. I won’t ever use them again as I felt they might either not come off or I might break a joy con trying to get them off. Overall great system that I am so glad I was able to finally get my hand on!

I've never bought a game console through Best Buy before, but I'm very pleased with how quickly it was shipped directly to my home right around the Christmas rush. The console came in perfect condition and has been excellent so far. I travel frequently and find that the versatility of the Switch is ideal. It really is as easy as the launch trailer showed it to be.
