Love!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This console is amazing! I got it to keep me busy during this quarantine and it has not disappointed! I’ve only played two games on it so far, and I haven’t had any problems. The tablet holds a charge for a long time, which is great. My only complaint is that my joycon sticks have to “load” or reconnect themselves more often than I’d like in the middle of gameplay.. If I were playing time sensitive games, I could see this causing a lot of issues. Other than that, it’s worked great

Fantastic and Versatile System
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the switch with some reservation as to how much "use" I would get from it, and I've been pleasantly surprised. So far every game I've played has worked well, and I don't get hung up on the quality gap between the XBOX like I though I would. Its versatility is the real winner though. Wether I'm playing solo like a handheld system, on the TV sole/with other, or, with someone else using the screen in the airport / in the air it has been a great addition. Well done Nintendo.

Got Lucky on my purchase timing!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was saving my reward points for a switch for a while, and when i finally had the funds for it (aka Free switch from reward points) thats when all went south around the world. One thing that happened was that people were buying the console immidiately just to flip it on Ebay for double the price. So for two-three months i was looking for the console at BestBuy and no luck. I installed the BestBuy app, and after a couple of weeks of looking for the console, i finally saw that Grey Sold Out turn Yellow Add to Cart. I hit my reward points and immediately added the console to my cart. I hit purchase and got it! Enough Story. Onto the System It handles Beautifully, great game library, pretty decent battery life for how powerful the system is. The joycons are actually pretty cool, although i like more meat on my controller so i bought a regualr 20$ controller to use with it. I will say that my main complain is that the Dock is super cheap! it works, however sometimes it disconnects from the TV, and it just kind of low quality, lots of edges (becareful with the switch screen around it). I highly recommend this, while i use PC for most of my games, this console has turned into my favorite followed by the PS2. But at the same time it is also a handheld so it has turned into my favorite handheld console followed by the 3DS XL.

Bought this for my son's birthday
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Oh Nintendo you really make me want one of these now. What an awesome product. Brilliant portable gaming system. The controls are superb and the game selection is just mind blowing. I have two kids and now my daughter wants her own Switch Light. I may have to buy her one for Christmas this year as they are constantly fighting over it. They both LOVE IT! I may have to buy me one too, I try to get them to go to bed early so I can play with it sometimes. LOL!!!

A refreshing look back into the past
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recall my first Nintendo was a GameBoy color as a kid back in the 90s and mostly playing Pokémon, Mario, and Donkey Kong on all their mobile platforms up until the GBA SP when at some point I lost interest in favor of Xbox and PlayStation. I haven’t played or purchased a Nintendo system until a few months ago during the pandemic when I joined the craze of people buying a Switch. I’m not interested in Animal Crossing, but I was interested in the games I once played rigorously in the past. It’s taken me awhile to think about this review, but I can say that despite Nintendo not winning the “console wars” in terms of specs and graphics, it’s greatest achievement for me is to bring back the nostalgia of playing fun, simple games wherever I am without being stuck in one place. With Xbox and PlayStation to really enjoy the experience I have to sit down and cannot easily move things around (I know Xbox has xCloud and PlayStation has remote play on Vita, but those weren’t available for me at this time). With the Nintendo Switch, however, I can have it docked when I want to play on my 85” Sony X900H or I can simply take it out and play wherever. During these times obviously I’m not taking it away from home due to quarantine, but I can play by my pool, move it to another TV with ease, or while relaxing in bed. The Nintendo single player games themselves provide fun challenges that aren’t stressful (at least to me) and really take my mind off. I still enjoy Xbox and PlayStation and play them more often than the Switch, but this fills in the gaps for when I want the simple joys of childhood.

Excellent Game Console for Everyone
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is hands down the best gaming console out there today. Out of the box it’s great for any situation; on-the-go or at home, playing solo or with a friend with the included controller. The online store has a vast variety of games genres, expanding Nintendo’s previously limited selection with games for more mature audiences, while also keeping their classic family-friendly games. The Nintendo Switch is the perfect console for every type of gamer.

Best of both worlds!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The perfect hybrid: The best feature and biggest selling point of the Nintendo switch is the fact that it can be used as a home console by placing it on the dock and playing on your TV, or removing it from the dock and taking it with you wherever you go. Sure it's not going to have the same power or graphical capabilities as my Xbox or Playstation, but thats not why you buy a switch. I will gladly take that compromise with many (not all) games to take them with me portably. Game exclusives: I play my xbox or playstation (depending on friends online) mainly to play cross platform games such as Call of Duty, Madden, Apex, etc. There have been few exclusives that have wowed me on xbox and playstation the way Nintendo exclusives have. Zelda BOTW quickly became my favorite game by far. Mario Kart is the perfect game to play when you have friends or family over. And games like Splatoon 2 just give a different and fun meaning to shooters. These just are a few of the games I have had a blast playing. Overall, the Switch has become my favorite console so far. I now know why they have been sold out everywhere during the pandemic. If you can get your hands on one, I highly recommend it!

Love
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this for our 8 year old son. He loves it! our 4 year old daughter is able to operate it as well. She doesn’t totally understand the controls, but it is enough to let her think she is playing. We did make sure we got the newer model with the longer battery life. It was easy to set up with our tv as well, but not required. There is also an app that can set limits on the time they use the Switch. We have not downloaded the app yet, but will soon.

Finally!!!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After months of waiting for a restock, I finally landed my hands on one of these babies! This Nintendo exceed all my expectations PLUS MORE. Purchased as gift to my husband. To get him through his law night shifts. Little did I know I would love this purchase. We watch YouTube, and Hulu through it. And play all of our childhood games which are new and improved. Some kid on YouTube showed us how to upload Netflix on it too!

Recommend!!! A+++
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.By far the best system out there in my opinion. The fast that this is a protable and stationary system amazes me. My daughter loves timhis system and the nintendo specific games that we purchased as well. I grew up using the original nintendo and nintendo 64 so being able to purchase alot of the same games for my daughter gave her the opportunity to experience what i did as a child. Highly recommend!!!

Great for gaming and portability
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wasn't allowed a gaming console growing up, so I was always going over to my friend's to play Zelda on his. Been considering the Switch for a while, wanting to play Breath of the Wild. With the updated version, I finally went for it. I have had a lot of fun with it. Zelda is so much fun to play, and the portability of this system makes it so ideal. I would highly recommend getting one if you've had an itch to play any of its games.

Worth the wait
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My kids were asking for a Switch all summer but couldn't find one. Ended up finding one which turned into a birthday present and his reaction of surprise and happiness was worth it for me. Lots of fun so far playing Mario Kart and Odyssey. The whole family gets into Mario Kart. The ease of taking the Switch where ever he goes is really nice, but it is also cool to hook it up to the screen for multiplayer use.

Best Gaming Device Ever!!!!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was so excited to receive this item because since we are all at home and quarantined, we needed something to lift our spirits and have us come together. The switch is such a fun way to have many people play together and have fun. Definitely a great way to have friends come over and play together because of the games. Sucks that this does not come with any games, but most of the games are very fun and worth the money.

||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good product the kids love it and we could play up to 4 players as long as you buy extra controllers but games are alittle on the expensive side but so worth it. You could take it anywhere and you could play on the tv too.

Best Console
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s portable it’s reliable and it has some of the beat games of any console generation. From Nintendo titles like Pokemon and Smash Bris to 3rd patty like Hades and Final Fantasy you can play it all and take it on the road. You will probably play it more as a hand held than on the big screen though both are enjoyable. I would recommend a grip case though as it can be fatiguing as a hand held.
