Great for my six year old. Love that he can solo play, play with a friend and connect to the tv for multiplay loooove this and I am so happy I found it in time for his birthday.

You get the best of everything with this "console" if you can call it that. It doubles as a handheld, and then becomes a console when you want to play it on the big screen. No complicated and messy wiring to deal with... you just drop it into the dock and you're off to the races! The Nintendo Switch might look a bit gimmicky on the surface, but once you think about the form factor, and the ability to detach the controllers and use them separately as two controllers, or both as a single controller, it's just a different level of genius that you have to experience in order to understand. Let's say you play so much that one of the buttons starts acting wonky... do you have to pay a lot of $$ to get the thing fixed? Do you tear it apart just to fix it? Nah, the folks at Nintendo already thought about that and have replacement controllers that you can just slide on... it's no longer gimmicky is it? Additionally, those tiny controllers have so much tech in them! It's no wonder they seem a bit pricey at $70... The resolution of the screen sucks you say? No way! The pixel density on the screen is perfect for the size and the colors are vivid. And for all the soccer fans out there, FIFA is a thing of beauty on this device! But sure, other games look and play fantastic on it as well. The Nintendo Switch is king of versatility! On the couch, on the go, on the porcelain throne... you'll be entertained wherever you might find boredom. The Switch is worth every penny you might drop on it... including the many accessories you can get for it. Are there any cons? Yes, but they're so minor you won't even really care! Do yourself a favor and get your hands on one... give it a go and see if you don't instantly fall in love with it. Oh, and if you really don't dig the controllers or the pricing, guess what? You can get a third party device that allows you to use ANY of your controllers from your other consoles... Now which of the other consoles can do that!!?? It's super cool to be able to use my favorite XBOX One controller on the Switch! Ahhhhh... the satisfaction is indescribably! Enough reviewing... I'm gonig to go play!

We all as a family love the Mario Deluxe 8, enjoying it everyday. Hopefully we'll buy kid friendly games and continue enjoying, so far didn't need any accessories. Overall Loving it :)

I purchased the Switch as a gift fo my son. He has been wanting it since the release. He gets straight As and it seemed like it would make a good Christmas present. I have played Overcooked on a friend's and it was super fun.

The Switch was a bold choice from a company that has always played by their own rules. Nintendo took cues from their entire legacy to bring this hybrid console/portable to fruition. Time will tell if it will be truly successful. I never got around to buying a Wii or Wii U, but I loved the Gamecube and 3DS. Nintendo may not be bringing the latest tech or most powerful hardware to the table, but their 1st party properties don't need to compete to move consoles. I can't wait for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and the eventual release of Smash Bros

Bought it for my nephew as a gift, because he has ADHD. It giveshim something to focus on & he loves it

We have purchased all of the Nintendo game systems and I’m thoroughly impressed with this one, from the large array of choices on games to the fabulous clarity of the games projected to the tv. The games I purchased so far are some of the old favorites with new challenges and different levels. I doubt I’ll play the system undocked but I like having that option. It is very nice having so many couch coop 2-4 players available. Very new ownership, but so far, so great!

Had one before and replaced. Enjoying the time with friends and family.

The entire system is very portable, including the docking station. Only downside is limited amount of games for it.

My 7 yrs old boy had been asking for a Nintendo Switch so he could play Mario Odyssey. The store had plenty of the consoles in stock as well as the games he wanted. When we were checking out we were asked if we wanted to purchase an optional 2 year extended warranty. In most cases I pass on the warranty but given the Switch is both a gaming console and a handheld device with a screen I decided it was worth purchasing. My son was so excited when he opened his present. Great experience overall.

We had been looking for one for months. Just happened to find it online here. Wasn't really expecting it to ship based on other highly sought after items I have tried to get in the past.

We were on the fence with buying the Switch due to its price, but I will tell you this is worth every penny!!! All ages are able to play including my 5 year old sister and 60 year old grandparents!

The switch is fantastic for both kids and adults. The Mario games are a blast and the portability of the system is great.

Like that you can play on the go. Controller are a little small for home play when they are removed. But overall I enjoy this console.
