Love that the switch has the old style rpg games like the turn base fighting

I'll be honest, I had my doubts about the Nintendo Switch. I was one of those that felt burned by Nintendo with my Wii U purchase. But this is different. The Nintendo Switch is basically a slightly upgraded Wii U that you can play anywhere. I've spent dozens of hours so far playing Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Splatoon 2. Playing them on the big screen is great and all but being able to play these games in portable or table top mode whenever and wherever I want is a game changer. They perform just as well and look amazing on the Switch's 6 inch 720p screen and this is the first handheld system to not only get analog sticks right but it has just as many buttons as the Xbox One and PS4. I own a 3DS (several, because kids), a New 3DS and a PS Vita and all three missed the mark. The Switch on the other hand feels great and controls remarkably well. Just make sure to pick up a Pro Pad if you plan on playing on your TV. The included grip for the Joy Cons is garbage and feels very cheap. That's my one and only complaint so far with the system. Make sure you invest in a screen protector as well. I highly recommend one from Anker. Those guys not only make quality products but they also stand by them. If you give them a negative rating on Amazon, they will go out of their way to track you down and replace with the exact product or something better (in cases where they no longer make the product you bought). My wife and I have already discussed picking up another one later this year for our bedroom. One Switch in a 4 family house is not working out for us.

Let's be real, this is Nintendo. You either love them or hate them. The switch is like a gameboy on crack and I love it so much for it.

The Nintendo switch has been a very satisfying purchase and has been nothing but fun since I got it. My kids and I can enjoy games together anywhere we go when we're not busy doing other activities. The only short side of getting it right at release has been the lack of games but the three we have purchased have kept us quite busy. Can't wait for more options to arrive though. You won't regret the purchase, I know we haven't!

I really love my new Nintendo switch! I like the fact that you can use it in your tv. Those hand held games are to small for my old eyes.

Having a blast playing Mario games. I would recommend buying an large microSD card when purchasing. You will need it for updates and game updates.

Haven't played a handheld since Sega game gear. Was always disturbed by how the game gear chewed through batteries and was basically a handheld tethered to the wall. Battery life here is pretty good, I guess it would depend on the type of game you are playing, but it is rechargeable with a dock so no need to worry about interruptions. Major complaint, it is just underpowered compared to Xbox and Playstation, but if you are playing something that has a slower pace or are not looking for the best graphical fidelity, this is nice.

The Nintendo Switch takes the Nintendo gaming experience to the next level. The controls are easy to manipulate, and the game's graphics are amazing. Fun for the whole family.

I randomly found one of these in stock and picked it up. Great system. Let's hope that Nintendo does a better job of supporting it than the ill-fated Wii-U. So far, so good...

So far... this is a $300 Zelda machine, but the potential is there for this console to be great. The portability is fantastic, even if the battery life is not. Carry a charger and you won't be disappointed. Time will tell what Nintendo can do for it, but like all of their consoles, you will be treated to experiences that you can't find elsewhere.

Great system. Can go from single play to multi player very easy. Very versatile.

I have always enjoyed playing on a Nintendo unit and the Gamecube was one of my favs. I like the way this is portable and you can play with the screen away from the main unit. My all time favorite game to play on Nintendo is the Super Smash Bros., so this is the main reason why I gave in to buying this, having owned the Xbox 360 and the One for the last few years of game play..Highly recommend...!
