I originally purchased nintendo switch light as christmas present for my kid bur exchanged it to nintendo switch. This is much better product and definitely worth additional funds. Portable just as light but also capable to connect to TV. Both kids are playing together.

Had it for about a month, no problems so far. Joy cons still work, charging is good. No complaints.

My six year old loves this console. It’s easy to use and it’s great that it’s portable and moves from one TV to the next with only a couple of wires. Good alternative to his tablet. The games are a little pricey and it doesn’t come with one, but he loves it so much that we thought it was still worth it.

Bought this system to play mostly interactive games for big groups. Have it connected to a projector on the wall. The games graphics are not as good and detailed as Xbox or PS4 obviously, but this is mobile and when we are just playing Mario Party or Just Dance, the graphic quality is not a high priority.

I'm on the older side of life (54), but still amused by video games, I am not good at them, and not tons of time, BUT, I'm using this much more than I expected. Like it a lot, effectively 100% of the time I use it in handheld mode, and it is not connected to a TV. I did that once at a hotel, and that worked but I use it mainly as a portable device. Would give it five, but 1) interface is a bit clunky, 2) would be nice to have some video streaming options. I believe that is coming. Games I have, Bomberman, Mario Kart, the Rabbids/Mario game.

After more than 2 years of using, this is still one of the best consoles I've ever had. I love the portability and the convenience of Switch when I both enjoy it while sitting or before sleep on my bed.

Really enjoying Breath of the Wild and Mario Oddesye - just wish there were a hard case which holds the controllers connected.

Amazing concept. Great portability. Some games even look great on a large TV. Pain in the butt though! Joy con’s drift and had to be replaced a few times. I’m saying this as an adult owned console. Was buggy connecting to the TV. It stopped reading games and had to be sent it. Battery life sucks. Kickstand broke off. Requires internet for a lot of things which seems to be the norm. The account situation also sucks. It’s great but quality isn’t quite there and it could be sooo much better.

Not only is the gaming experience on the switch better than I thought, but playing on transit is almost as good as playing on the tv at home. Best Buy messed up inventory and allowed me to buy an edition they didn’t have in store. Waited for half an hour while they “checked” and finally just opted for this one.

Looked and looked all over town for this. We are so happy we found it. It was a birthday present!

Nintendo has done it again . Very clever they have eliminated the dreadful moment every gamer faces , when they have to turn the system off and try and find a save point. Now just pick up the system and go. My kids love this system . Love Zelda and MARIO kart. Only downside imo is system was released to early without enough games to showcase

Awesome little console, portability and ease of use is top notch and the ability to dock it and connect to a tv and take your gaming to the tv is a major bonus. And vice versa, if you wanna continue your game but you have to leave, just pop and your on the move.

I was skeptical about purchasing this console for my teen son, but it does not disappoint. The versatility of the unit, the great games available and the portability make this a system worth considering. We have had no issues with connections or general use. Very fun little unit that was designed well.

Best invention yet! To have a quality game system that is both a hand held and a console. And you can play in table mode with the controllers detached! I bought this for my 7 year old. While the games are pricey, if you create an account on Nintendo, you can add games to a wish list and Nintendo will email you when those games are on sale. And the sales are often really good deals! I also like that it is not automatically online so you can choose to not sign up for the multiplayer online games. We got the case with the adjustable stand for table play and to store games for on the go. You can also purchase a screen protector. Whatever you do, DO NOT use any type of alcohol cleaning pads on the screen as it will leave permanent marks. I read that somewhere. Best to just stick to water and mild soap if needed. Other than that, we both love the Nintendo switch!

Haven't played with this yet bought these for my 2 sons. Everyone else seems to have good reviews will update after Christmas

Great system for teens, younger ones and the family as a whole. Many games don't need an Internet connection and the portability is awesome. Play on the TV, online, in the car, Dr's office, anywhere. Game downloads are smaller than other consoles so there's lots of storage for games. Great family console with hours of fun!
