You should know that this review is coming from someone who loves handhelds. Out of the current modern-day systems, I would have to say the 3DS is my favorite (over PS4, XB1, and even PC). That said, the Switch is really a dream come true. Of course, the big draw is to be able to play both handheld and on a TV, and while this does work seamlessly, I find myself playing in handheld mode 90% of the time. The screen is great. The OS is super smooth. I love that I can detach the joycons. I was worried that the layout of the buttons would cause my hands to cramp (I have issues on the 3DS without a grip), but I've found it to be extremely comfortable, even over extended periods of play (2+ hours). I know the game library is currently limited, but knowing that we're going to see full-fledged Nintendo titles on a handheld hybrid has me very excited for the future of the Switch. If not for Zelda, I would likely have waited for a Switch, but even for only Zelda it is definitely worth it.

This console is amazing. My son 7 loved it. He loves that he can take it anywhere as its portable as well. Love the fun colors it comes in and you can switch out controller colors. It's like you get 2 game consoles in one.

Such and amazing console!!! I love it so much! I've been eying it for so long and I finally got one! It was such a long process but I finally have one and it's so amazing! The only game I have is Breath of the Wild and I've been playing non-stop! I mean I'm broke now but it's worth it!

Debated back and forth between this and the Lite. The extra hundred made me waver and then I realized what an experience playing certain games on the big screen would be and I knew I had to have the original.

This is my first time owning a nintendo switch. Im very excited to play animal crossing and check out indie games. I wish it was more customizable themes and had other apps like Netflix. But so far im enjoying it.

This game is great for my almost 8 year old, but also fun for my 15 year old and 13 year old!

I purchased this gift for my sister and the whole family plays it. We can’t get enough of it.

I recently purchased this after owning a ps4 pro for a few years. It is the first Nintendo system I have owned since the Wii U. I love how versatile and portable it is as a system. I do recommend purchasing a screen protector for it, but those are fairly cheep.

This thing is made of fairy dust and unicorn hair. It is magical. It is portable. And it's powerful. It's take the best of console gaming and on-the-go gaming and combines it into one tiny machine that is loaded with Nintendo classics. This is a must for every household!!

The Switch is the first Nintendo console I’ve owned since the Super Nintendo back when it was released. Many positive things to say about it but you can read those anywhere. Only a few gripes. Internal storage is awful/laughable. Why they don’t include a suitable amount with this generation of gaming escapes me. So I had to buy a memory card. I haven’t had to do that since my PS2. The online store is also clunky although it works. Just not as pretty as playstation’s. That’s about all the negatives I have for the device. It’s awesome.

This is the best console ever. I think that it's ability of playing it on a game tablet is awesome, plus you can put it into the dock, disconnect the joy-cons, attach them to a controller and play on your TV. Best console ever. I highly recommend this to people. It's worth the money.

Great console, you can play as a home system, a portable device or with the joy sticks which reminds me of the wii. Such a fun console with a great selection of games to play. Id highly recommend this to anyone who is a fan of nintendo, i was skeptical at first but love it.

Great system for a great price! Easy to set up and enjoy right away. The only downside to this product is that the sales on their network aren’t as good as other consoles. But that shouldn’t hinder anyone from purchasing.
