Very good quality and fun to play on and connects to the television

I got this for my kids for Christmas. They really like that they can buy the games online instead of keeping track of physical games. They also like that it is easy to switch between hand held game use and on the TV. We purchased an extra controller as well as the family online membership at the same time which was an excellent purchase.

I got this to play party games and its perfect. The best thing about it is the size. Decent memory/storage but it definitely gets the job done.

There's nothing quite like the Nintendo Switch. What makes it unique is that it does what its name suggests - it switches. It switches between being played like a usual console on the television and playing it as a portable handheld as well as a small portable video screen that one or multiple people can play on. Even the controllers have "switchability" and can be used in different ways. I like the Nintendo Switch because it is a neat concept and it works. So far, I've been enjoying the new Zelda game, which is incredible. I've never played Zelda much but this game is quite an open world adventure...like being in a whole other world. My kids enjoy playing 1-2 Switch with each other and guests who come over. We also enjoy playing Bomberman and Snipperclips. However, I remember the Wii U being much more enjoyable when it first came out. I don't know why that console did not do well. Maybe people just didn't know what it was or it was not promoted as well. When we got the Wii U, the game Nintendoland was such a huge hit at parties and when we have people over. You could play that for hours and still have quite a blast. And that game came with the console! The Switch has no game that comes with it. You have to shell out more $ for games to play. Also, as cool as 1-2 Switch and Bomberman are, they lose their appeal after a shorter time. The only game so far that you can play for hours is Zelda, and that's a 1 person game. Even Bomberman, which costs a lot, does not even compare to the Bomberman on the Wii U that didn't cost much at all. The Bomberman that was available for download on the Wii U had sooo many more modes and customizations that it made it a lot more fun. So my only complaint for the Switch is...what's with the lack of games? I wish they had come out with a party game that came with the console that blew everyone away - like Nintendoland for the Wii U. And there's not many games to play right now, especially with other people. I watched the commercials and it looked so fun bringing it to places where you can play with others. That's what I envisioned but I have yet to go to a random park, set that Switch on the table, and played with friends or random people, bringing the world together. If and when that day comes, then I think the Switch would have accomplished what it set out to do. Overall, I like the Switch. It's cool to have, it's new and has a neat concept and lives up to its name. Now does it live up to its potential? We'll just have to wait for more games to come out to see.

It's a great game that makes my kids happy to play in the weekend

It's a really interesting piece of hardware. Not sure it's a must buy yet. It has some strong titles, but probably needs more variety and a continuation of strong releases. With that said I believe it works best as a portable. It's a little underwhelming as a home console, but extremely impressive as a device that is carried around. Get it now if you want it, but do not be surprised if the first redesign is amazing.

Best idea for my family (and me mainly). We have had hours of fun playing together and the traffics when playing it in your hand as opposed to hooking it up to your tv is amazing. Highly recommend to anyone that wants to spend some time together with your family or just by yourself to help break up this monotonous living in the pandemic.

I bought this for Christmas for my little siblings: an 8-year old and a 11-year old. Since Christmas day, this is all they have been doing. Since I bought a Switch Lite a couple of months ago, we can play together. The portability is awesome, the dock is easy to move around and set up, and it just helps lift the whole mood of the house.

Solid system for on the go fun. Love being able to play my favorite games wherever I may be. Looking forward to getting the accessories for it. Screen protector and travel case!

Wonderful console, huge variety of games. Lots of amazing jrpg’s. Amazing!! Always been a huge fan of Nintendo and their handhelds. Growing up in a big family, it was the primary way I’ve always games. Now as an adult, I navigate to the switch. It’s super easy to use, lots of great titles on the go, great for personal use or multiple users.

I have been wanting a switch for some time now. Super happy that I finally got one. I love the compactness of the console and how easy it is to dock and charge.

I really enjoy the concept. I have played on planes with my wife and had big Mario parties at home. I have always wanted a switch and after playing my controller disconnect during games with friends and now honestly we don’t play as much. It was just one of the controllers so I bought two more and one of those did the same thing disconnecting during games. I’m guessing them Bluetooth gets cut off. The Wii remotes never had that problem…. Other than the remotes disconnecting I’ve really enjoyed playing all the games and being able to go solo or having the whole family play. Totally worth the money and I bet if I got the switch 2 these problems would be solved hopefully.

I love it even more than my ps5 so much better games

Still just so much fun and fun for the family and i hear this one opposed to the oled can be better because something is going on with the new oled controllers so im excited.

It was hard to find one at first, but was able to purchase one through BestBuy’s website. I bought this to upgrade from my original switch because of the improved battery life. I haven’t played long enough to notice the improvement, however for the same price it wasn’t too bad as I was already going to give my older switch to my girlfriend anyways.
