I am an older person, and the Nintendo Switch is a very easy video game to operate. I have already had hours of fun with it. I play it on my 65-inch big screen TV.

Solid Nintendo quality for their next generation console. The ability to play as a handheld and on the TV are awesome features. Also, as the console is still relatively new, there are a lot of new games to anticipate. I highly recommend this product!

I preordered the Nintendo Switch on bestbuy.com and couldn't wait for the console to arrive. Three things have really tempered my enthusiasm. One was well before the launch day and the other two were after the console arrived. 1) The game lineup at launch is simply awful! I'm really enjoying the new Zelda game but otherwise, the titles have no appeal to anyone other than a causal gamer. I have owned every Nintendo console since the original and I believe this may be the first one to be released without a Mario game coinciding the introduction. And this time it's a shame as the new Mario Odyssey looks incredible! Yes, there's a Mario Kart game arriving in a few weeks (and I preordered it), but it's nothing but a rehash of the WIIU version. 2) After playing on the system for a time, I'm enjoying the versatility of the console, especially the mobile tablet function. The Zelda game looks really good on the tablet. However, when you use the Switch as a regular console on a good TV the flaws really show. The graphics aren't even close to those of the competing consoles. In fact, the Zelda game appears to be too substantial for the console's weak processor to handle as my frame rate has crashed several times with glaring graphics glitches during gameplay. It's disappointing as there's no reason Nintendo couldn't have beefed this up some. 3) The online portion of the Switch doesn't appear to be 100% functional. I would hope that this is taken care of before Mario Kart comes out as playing Mario Kart online is the main reason to get it (especially since it's not a new release). The lack of a Virtual Console with games from previous consoles is also a big disappointment, as is the fact that all of my old games I had on my WIIU will not transfer over to the new console. I hope the company changes it's mind and keeps the online portion free vs. transitioning to a pay service in the Fall. With this many issues regarding the online functionality, I certainly wouldn't pay to play online as I do with the competitors services which have far more to offer. All in all, I don't regret buying the Switch as I have hopes that the upcoming games will support my initial investment. But Nintendo has certainly made some missteps out of the gate here that they need to correct quickly.

It took me forever to buy a switch. But i wanted smash bros, so I finally made the move. This is a great system. Its just so convenient. The joy cons are a little goofy and some (most) games are hard to play on them, but its still a fun time

i love the switch. its super simple to set up and gameplay is very smooth. i enjoy being able to pay older games with emulators as well as checking out the new games that are constantly being released.

Replaced my switch that my wife took over with this one. 2.0 battery is really good but the screen quality is a lot less than the original imo. I'd stick with the first edition if you've already got it

I love the switch. There are so many fun games my husband and I can play together and I love how portable it is. I just wish the price would have come down by now with it being out a few years, but I still think its worth it.
