Good system. We have 2, one for each kid. The flexibility is great - handheld or big screen, easy to switch back and forth. Variety of games is decent. The joycon controllers tend to break and are expensive to replace, but calling Nintendo may get a free replacement or repair.

My son has wanted this for a while. He bought it and loves it.

I love its versatility, it's both a handheld and a home console. The joy-cons work great, and they have HD rumble. I get a full battery withing a couple of hours and the games are totally worth to play, any of them.

I love that its portable and a docked console. I do want a new wireless controller like a pro controller. My fingers are too big for the other ones sometimes. Great selection of games gor young and old.

I checked Best Buy daily trying to get either this or the light version and it was constantly sold out. A couple of times it said add to cart and when I did before I could check out it came back that they were already sold out again. But finally I got one! I bought it for one my daughter’s sweet 16 birthday presents. Her birthday is not until November 1 so she hasn’t got it yet. So even though I haven’t used my specific Nintendo switch I’m very familiar with them and know that they are awesome. Friends of the family have them and love them. Got my daughter hooked and that’s why I got her one. Once her birthday rolls around I’m sure she’s gonna love it!

Great system, takes me back to my childhood. Love the ability to play at home or on the go. The controllers are a bit small when playing with 2 people, but they're great when placed into the holder to use as a single controller.

This is both a great console and an excellent portable system.

Picked this up for my son's birthday as he was requesting it for some time now. It is an excellent console with an added dimension of game play, truly combining a standard (but compact!) console (meant for home TV) with a portable device. The (portable) screen quality is sharp, and has great viewing angles. It's awesome that the controllers can recharge when connected to the console. Ultimately, there are 4 ways (maybe more??) to play: as a portable device with controllers attached, as a portable device with controllers detached (and screen propped up by stand), as a console with controllers attached to the grip, or as a console with controllers separated (and attached to straps). Next step is to get a carrying case (for travel), and a case when used as a portable.
