The Nintendo Switch is a pretty cool gadget. It’s like you get 2 devices for the price if one! You could play your video games at home on your tv, then attach the controls to the portable unit and take it along with you when you’re on the go. I’d say it’s about the size of a PSP (of you remember what those were). So it does have a little weight to it when you use it as a portable video game player but the device is pretty slim and the graphics are pretty sharp. The screen is a pretty good size too. I would suggest buying a case for your Switch of you plan on taking it on the go. I wish there were more games and if they weren’t so expensive. Would’ve been awesome if you could play DS games on the Switch.

The Switch is fantastic. The hybridized style of handheld and console really make it shine. When I first learned of it I thought it was a bit gimmicky, but it really is great. Whenever I want to play on my TV I can simply slide it into the dock-- no scratching or problems there, by the by-- and play. When I need to go somewhere or just want to relax in bed and play handheld, I can. The system does heat up a bit while I'm the dock, but an easy fix is to just point a fan at it. I played Breath of the Wild for hours doing this, it really works. There's so much more I could say, but you just have to try it out for yourself. Not sure how anyone else is getting all the problems with it, though.. my experience has been flawless this far.

Product was great. My boys love it and we often play as a whole family. So many fun games to choose from and the fact that it can be docked to play on the tv OR hand held is awesome! I ordered online and did the curb side pick up and it was so quick and easy.

Got this for my kids for Christmas and they were over the moon about it. Setup was a breeze and really fast. They were playing in a matter of minutes. As a parent, what I found really cool was the free app for my smart phone that accompanies the console. I can log in on my phone and monitor the amount of time they play and what content my kids are exposed to. I can set parental controls and most importantly, I can setup how long they can play every day and once they hit the limit it shuts down for the rest of the day. Unlike the Wii U, this console can be played throughout the house and even on the go. Having bought just about every gaming system for the last 20+ years, I am seriously impressed with this product.

I managed to find one of these in stock at Best Buy on the day it was released. I wasn't going to get one because I thought there was no way it would work the way the Switch ad made it out to be. However, since it was in stock, I thought I'd get it for the kids to try out. They absolutely LOVE it. It actually works the way it was advertised to work and almost seamlessly. The portability of this console is just sooooooo useful. My son brought it along on our trip to NY and DC with just a USB charger and he was able to play it on our plane and train rides. His favorite game so far is Puyo Pop Tetris. My son wasn't really a console gamer (more of a PC gamer) but this has turned that around. He is hardly on his PC now and always on this.
