Steam Deck is better in 2023, but its decent.

Alot of fun can be had with it but it has its issues and Nintendo is now falling into industry greed when it didnt used to. Now with the Steam Deck out, you have to ask when Nintendo is going to upgrade these consoles in 2023. Joycons are shaky and the dock can be as well. 720p when standard is 1080p.

A good hybrid console for home and on the go.

It's affordable, and this revision is the one with a longer battery life. Be sure to get this one and not the other one (Which I'm sure can be told by the price difference.) Though one gripe I do have is the small amount of storage. I mean sure, it's enough for maybe one or two triple A games, but if you by a lot of games online and take screenshots, you best be getting a big Micro SD card.

My wife's favorite gift!

She loves it and uses it both as a portable gaming system and connected through the dock to a tv. It has worked flawlessly on all of the games she plays.

A bright future for Nintendo
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me just start this review off by saying, if you are hesitant on buying the Nintendo Switch I will honestly tell you don't be. Because this this has to be one of the best video game systems l have ever purchased, and I'm sure you will love it just the same. I'm writing this review extremely late. I bought the Switch on (4/27/17) so I could play my couple of Breath of the Wild that I bought on launch day, and to play the newly released Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Needless to say I love the Switch. The last Nintendo system I bought was the 3DS, and before that was a GameCube. So I missed two generations of Nintendo consoles that being Wii and the Wii U. Both had there share of great games but they didn't appeal to me or what I wanted out of a console until now. The Switch has made me a Nintendo fan all over again. The future of Nintendo is bright with the Switch.
