Customers are saying

Customers highly value the portability and overall performance of this console, which many users consider to be the best handheld device available. Players also appreciate the extensive game selection, long battery life, and the overall fun experience the system provides. While the device is well-regarded, some users have noted that the controller size and limited storage capacity could be improved. Additionally, there are mixed feelings regarding the design and comfort of the Joy-Cons.

    Not worth the price

Pros -portable -portable -portable CONs -too expensive for not being on par with major consoles -lacking major developer games/apps such as PUBG, COD, Fallout76, Netflix, internet browser. -overpriced to be below par in hardware as compared to other consoles. Major cellphones have more robust hardware than the switch -18 mos later and you realease a paid, subpar, online gaming service and try to sweeten the deal with old ported NES games? -no wireless headset support without 3rd party adapters? -careful the dock will scratch your screen. Poor design and should come with a screen protector because of the design. -very limited games unless your into games you played 4-6 years ago or really old NES games or Indy garbage. If you need a highly portable system that is a dockble PSP knockoff without the major titles, then stick with the other two major consoles. If your argument is this console is designed for kids, you are sorely mistaken as you will find some Japanese virtual tinder simulators in the estore. $300 to play Mario Kart 5000, Zelda, Diablo 3, 30+ yr old NES games, and MARIO Party is just not worth your hard earned CAPs.

Small but it has old school games that I play also. My son plays it all the time. Working perfectly. Does not take up space because it is a small and also handheld game console. Love it

My last Nintendo was the Wii. I passed on Wii U and I’m glad I did. The switch is awesome. It seems like Nintendo was almost there with Wii U, but not quite, and they released it anyway.

The Nintendo Switch is what the Wii U should have been. Truly a mobile system with tons of potential. Bought Zelda: Breath of the Wild and it is a fantastic have, with gorgeous visuals. Good job Nintendo!!

Finally. Nintendo does something right. Make their main console portable! Its a great idea. Now that games are coming out that are good ie smash bros these should fly off shelves again.

Unless you've been living under a rock, you know about the Switch! It's a perfect hybrid console - The portable "tablet" actually IS the console, so you don't have to worry about quality issues when playing it in portable mode (although, the 720p screen is a bit low, but still looks good). It's not nearly as powerful as the vanilla PS4 or Xbone, and only outputs in 1080p, but it's still great, with a large selection of available & upcoming games, many of which have demos in the eShop. Unfortunately, the hard drive space is deplorable, with only 32gb provided. Some digital versions of games are even larger than that by themselves! It has a micro-SD card slot, and can be expanded to 2 terabytes (although I don't think we'll be seeing cards that big for a LONG time). Your saved games are stored on the system itself, with no way to back them up, unless you pay for Nintendo Online (which, as of now, is a joke). Also, the lack of a D-pad is annoying for 2-D games, so you'll probably want to get a Pro controller, or buy the HORI D-pad replacement Joycon. If you add the controller, a game, a micro-SD card, and a screen protector, it's going to be very expensive. Nintendo is following in Sony's & Microsoft's footsteps, and will be releasing what will most likely be a more powerful model sometime in 2019 (I'm guessing in time for the holidays). If you can wait that long, I'd recommend just getting the new one. All in all, it's a great system for all ages!

The Switch is Nintendo’s newest innovative, hit gaming console. And as usual, hands down the best console for kids and family gaming. Just needs more Nintendo flagship games.

My family loves playing our switch together. We play everything from AAA releases to downloadable indie games. The portability actually prompted us to buy a second switch for traveling together.

I love the Switch. I bought it for my daughter and she uses it all the time. The controllers are small and need a little time getting used to them, but it's a great nintendo.

This charging console is awesome. It projects the game to the tv and charges or if you pull the system out you can play hand held. Very neat design and the switch and charging console looks slick

This was a gift. I like that it is portable or connects to TV for family fun. Be sure to get a micro SD card with purchase if you plan to download games.

My boys love this! We can take it on the go or play Mario kart as a family. I have nothing bad to say about it except for the fact that you cannot sync two units to play together while on the go.
