Great little system and the mobile "console" setup is awesome. The graphics are great and the controls, while connected directly, are highly responsive. The biggest issue I have is the slight lag when using the controllers remotely. The lag really needs to be addressed and fixed since it affects gameplay across the entire gamut. Fishing games or games that include a quick-repeat or well-timed repeat requirement of button pushing are nearly unplayable if using the controls remotely. The portability of the system and the current selection of old-school games available through the really affordable subscription are worth the price and the reason it gets 4 stars.

Switches aren't really impulse buys. If you are getting one, it's because you already know you want it. And you're right. You do want it. It is a blast. Every one in the house loves it. Get this one over the Lite, just so you can play it on a big screen. But my family is considering also getting a Lite just so we don't have to fight over it when different people want to play different games.

My daughter is not a gamer and loves the switch and doesn’t feel the need to buy any other system.

The switch is an amazing system it allows you to be movie with a gaming system. Better version of the Nintendo DS.
