We absolutely LOVE the Nintendo Switch! Not only does it bring back a flood of memories from 30 years ago, but the ability to play old-school games on Switch Live is a game changer. My only complaint are the controllers: they tend to "twitch," and Nintendo is aware of the problem. My recommendation is to buy an off-market controller.

I purchased the Nintendo Switch for my daughter. I think that, and not just because it is new, it appears to be her favorite of the gaming systems that she has - Playstatiom, Wii, Xbox. I don't know that much about it, but she was happy with being able to switch between playing on the TV and on the handheld device, and really liked the controller options. She had some friends over and they had a great time playing it.

Super fun system my wife and I got Zelda and mario kart. Both of us are having a lot of fun with it!

And two kids can enjoy at once!!! Everyone is happy! Of course, I had to buy also a pair of binoculars and some out door gear to encourage balance and outside real play as well... After the initial panic of ZERO of these being available most of this holiday season, a best buy guy informed us to just keep trying, and eventually we were able to order one.

This is a great system. The size and ability to take it and play it anywhere is awesome!

It will make your kids happy. As an adult, I'm not overly impressed by it from a tech standpoint. The graphics are dated, the store is absolutely terrible, the games inexplicably NEVER drop in price even years after release. In other words, classic Nintendo. That said, their are a lot of great games to play. Lots of new and retro fun to be had. The portability is a gimmick the kids will have more use for than adults which is fine. It all depends on who you're buying it for, I suppose. If you're and adult buying a gift for your kids, they'll absolutely love it. If you're an adult buying it for yourself...I'd recommend a Playstation, Xbox or Gaming PC.
