Totally worth it as long as kids are old enough to use them

Exactly what my kids wanted for Christmas. Works great and compact for travelling. Got one for each of our kids. Highly recommended

I always wanted Nintendo Switch but now, I've got a good excuse, my seven-year old son. I was super glad he put it on his wish list. 1 or 2 player, no problem. This brings back the fun in playing video games. Your competitiveness will come out. Invite your brothers, sisters, cousins and the game is on. Super easy to connect to TV, multiple ways how to handle controller. It's just easy, plug n play system. This is a must.

User-friendly, it took awhile before I could get my in hands the Nintendo Switch about 2 months since i decided to buy the console, I'd been a Nintendo Fans since the early SNES, so when I saw the Lineups and Upcoming games plus with my favorite Game of all Time The Legend of Zelda, then I knew I had to get them in my collection. Nintendo ended up outdoing the expections generated from the failure of the previous generations.

Fun and you can easily transport it around wherever you'd like. Simply take it somewhere for personal use or the whole setup and plug it into a TV and have a fun family game night. Just buy a screen protector to keep it safe and possibly a case. Get another set of 2 joycons for 4 player fun.

Love the game, love that you can download games. Very compact and holds the charge.

It’s easy to set up and use. Games are good for young kids

Although the Switch doesn't have as much "horsepower" as the Xbox or the PS4, the Mario and Zelda titles can't be found anywhere else. Its another great release from Nintendo.

This is a gift for my 11 year old son. He really wanted the colored controllers and glad I got them. I'm really looking forward to building our Switch library! Nintendo rocks!

The system is great. The grandsons were a bit disappointed with having to wait for the update before they could play. Other than that, no complaints.

I would recommend this to any "old time" gamer. This is ablast fron the past.

It all started at the end of 2012. Nintendo promised to release the highly anticipated Zelda game with one of the largest and ambitious worlds. I bought a Wii U awaiting the Zelda game. The only game I purchased was Mike Tyson Punch Out... I continued to wait and no Zelda game. 2013, 2014, 2015, nothing. I gave up on Nintendo and sold my Wii U on eBay with all original parts and with box in immaculate condition. Then out of the blue (to me) the Nintendo Switch was released March 7, 2017 and guess what longly anticipated game was released as a release title? Yup, The Legend of Zelda Breath of The Wild. Argh!, as my inner pirate bemoaned. I waited to even consider purchasing one because of my previous disappointment with Nintendo. My anger subsided or was all but forgotten during this pandemic. There are more serious things to concern myself with. I decided that if it wasn’t sold out and I profited from my stock investments that I would buy a Switch and Zelda. Well, the coincidence of events lined up perfectly and I bought one. So glad I did. I have all game consoles and don’t play any of them. Even with The Last of Us 2...not that it isn’t excellent. Not the argument but Nintendo and Zelda and I have a past that was long worth the wait.

I'll be honest, I had my doubts about the Nintendo Switch. I was one of those that felt burned by Nintendo with my Wii U purchase. But this is different. The Nintendo Switch is basically a slightly upgraded Wii U that you can play anywhere. I've spent dozens of hours so far playing Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Splatoon 2. Playing them on the big screen is great and all but being able to play these games in portable or table top mode whenever and wherever I want is a game changer. They perform just as well and look amazing on the Switch's 6 inch 720p screen and this is the first handheld system to not only get analog sticks right but it has just as many buttons as the Xbox One and PS4. I own a 3DS (several, because kids), a New 3DS and a PS Vita and all three missed the mark. The Switch on the other hand feels great and controls remarkably well. Just make sure to pick up a Pro Pad if you plan on playing on your TV. The included grip for the Joy Cons is garbage and feels very cheap. That's my one and only complaint so far with the system. Make sure you invest in a screen protector as well. I highly recommend one from Anker. Those guys not only make quality products but they also stand by them. If you give them a negative rating on Amazon, they will go out of their way to track you down and replace with the exact product or something better (in cases where they no longer make the product you bought). My wife and I have already discussed picking up another one later this year for our bedroom. One Switch in a 4 family house is not working out for us.
