It's the most offline friendly console in my opinion. I really enjoy playing handheld mode when I'm about to go to bed. It never really leaves my room since I'm not desperate to play games but it is a nice option for longer trips if need be. Highly recommend for careful people since I feel that the joycons loosen over time even with careful usage.

Great Family Console

The ability to take it with you as a handheld is an ingenious idea for those times away from home as well. The included controller is a little uncomfortable for larger hands, but still very playable.
